I strongly disagree with the notion that Moore lost because of trump

What is unreasonable about the following statement?

If Mo Brooks or Luther Strange had won, this thing would have been a 25+ point victory.

Blaming this on trump is like blaming obama for Massachusetts.

Moore was a controversial, underperforming republican LONG LONG before trump came on the scene. He won in 2012 by 4 points, as romney romped by 30+.

Anyone that thinks it's about trump should be never taken serious.

Nobody actually believes that, even the people who are saying it.

Roy Moore lost because because he's a shite candidate who left the door open for dirty politics to dethrone republican dominance in Alabama.

I don't know. Look how the black vote came out in RECORD NUMBERS. Overall, though , Moore is to blame for this loss.

Would love to study the numbers. See what kind of turnover there was in suburban districts, etc.

If anything Trump helped Roy Moore close the gap to the point where he had a shot to win.

If Trump stayed away, he would've lost by ten points ore more.

not really fair, apparently all you need to do is make false molestation charges and your career is over whether it's true or not

It isn’t about Trump.

Roy Moore is a fricking idiot.

I just wish Alabama would have rejected him before this.

This has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with those unproven allegations. Jones will lose in a landslide next election.

And what will keep Democrats from trotting out unproven accusations in every election going forward?

It worked this time

That's why I didn't vote for his sorry arse.

A joke of an election and its been embarrassing to follow in my opinion.

If Trump had forced out Moore, the seat is still GOP. He was the only one with the power to do it. He didn't do it. It's his fault.
