Democrats physically enslaved the blacks, and then effectively legally enslaved them, and have now financially enslaved them.

Literally centuries of control and abuse and yet they stay.

Was at the University of Maryland for my son’s flag football tournament this past weekend. This is 100% anecdotal, but the number of black folks wearing MAGA hats around D.C. and Maryland blew my mind.

I think there are a lot of union people in Rust Belt cities that support Trump's anti-immigrant stance. These are the Bernie Bros that voted Trump in 2016. These groups include quite a few younger black males. Even Dems have admitted that this is becoming an issue for them.

The other issue is Harris's time as AG in Cali, when she shite all over the Bill of Rights. (Many of you "conservatives" echo the policies that she championed.)

Black people will never, ever, ever “turn red” and they would’ve voted 85% Democrat this go round. We say they’re “waking up” every election cycle for the last 20 years, they ALWAYS fall in line. Probably 95-98% for Kamala.

I would just remind you that the black voting block was a Republican block for a long time.

What changed it wasn't blacks "figuring out what's right". It was the Democratic party and Republican party changing what they believed. With JFK and LBJ, the Democrats became the party of civil rights which the GOP was before. With NIxon's "southern strategy", the GOP became the party accepting racism which the Democrats had always been before.

The black voting block changed because of the parties changing... not because of the black voters changing what was important to them.

They could change in the future, but it requires the parties changing their platforms. The concept that any voting block is going to fundamentally change their views in any kind of short period of time is very unlikely.

Tell us what LBJ thought of black people.

accepting racism

That was, is now, and always will be a plank of the Dems.

I'm sure he was quite biased. Most southern democrats were at that time. We know what his beliefs on the civil rights act were. After signing it he stated that he had just signed the south over to the GOP for generations. He was pretty much right about that.

LBJ was not a nice person, but he was pretty sharp.

As for racism, you should read up on Nixon's "southern strategy". There's no real secret there. The GOP still largely uses it today:

"The GOP’s Southern Strategy initiated the realignment of the South with the Republican Party by exploiting white racial anxiety about social changes to the southern racial hierarchy. However, the GOP’s success was not solely the result of its policy position on civil rights. Rather, that decision was part of a series of decisions the party made on feminism and religion as well, in what is called here the “Long Southern Strategy.” White resentment toward a more level racial playing field, for example, was intensified by the threat of a level gender playing field, and the promotion of “family values” by anti-feminists paved the way for the Christian Right. It all doesn't matter....

what matters is its easier for them to cheat with KH, the algorithm doesn't skew as far out as it does with Biden...they will harvest votes, tap into voting machines, and let illegals' on voter rolls...

That’s not a quote.

Again, the LBJ quote is definitive. I’m sure you know that, which is why you are deflecting from the original request.

Kamala Harris is a Cop was not a meme created by the Right/GOP

Correct. It was not. It was created during the 2020 primaries by her fellow democrats back when she wasnt afraid to call Biden a racist to his face.

She maybe had 200 people go see her when she came in town for Essence Fest. That’s out of 500,000 that attend the event, black people do not like her.

???

You didn't ask for a quote. If you have a prticular quote in mind just share it. I can't read your mind.

I'm assuming you don't want the quote where he said: “Let us close the springs of racial poison. Let us pray for wise and understanding hearts. Let us lay aside irrelevant differences and make our nation whole. Let us hasten that day when our unmeasured strength and our unbounded spirit will be free to do the great works ordained for this nation by the just and wise God who is the Father of us all.”

He said that at the signing of the Civil Rights Bill.
