Prediction, Sanders wins the nomination. The continuous news story will be the establishment rigging of the 2016 election. The only one without blood on his hands is Bernie.
All these polls with him down and Biden up is typical BS.

His coverage so far has been atrocious. The Soviet honeymoon, the stories about women and minorities feeling slighted during his 2016 campaign, etc. His numbers are also surprisingly low. “Insurgent” campaigns rarely have the same appeal the second time around. Check out liberal boards if you want some unofficial gauge of how many Dems now perceive him.

They'll never give the nomination to a guy who's not even a party member.

Biden will get the nomination.

What better way to energize the Obama crowd against Trump than to run the closest politician to Obama (Biden)?

"You want to return to the Obama years? Elect Biden" will be the mantra.

Super delegates are there for a reason. That reason is to prevent someone like Sanders from getting the nomination. DNC only wants to give the appearance that voters are choosing who the nomination is.

In the absence of a serious Biden scandal it's over.

Bernie was the only loony in 2016 so the far left could easily coalesce around him - the lone non-neoliberal shill - as a result. This go-round everyone's loony plus half the candidates can play identity politics games that he can't.

His brand is about as stale as Biden's in the grand scheme of things, but without the backing of the entirety of the party leadership.

Why they're even allowing him to run when he dropped the Dem label immediately after 2016 is beyond me but whatever. They know he's not going anywhere in this climate.

By "absence" do you mean media not reporting? We all learned during the Obama years that if the media doesn't report something, it didn't happen.

I still kinda predict Sanders as well and fear the Dems best chance is with Sanders, not Biden. Although people already “know who Biden is” and have normailized him to a certain degree, he brings nothing of any substance to the table. The guy can’t get out one cohesive thought in a 60 second sound bite. Whereas Trump may seem repetitive, but in 30 seconds he will drill home his point 5 times!
Bernie has a groundswell following and if he’s ignored or tossed to the side again his people will abandon the polls again. Trump hate is not enough alone to beat him, especially considering the momentum he’s had over the past few months.

Sanders chances ended the second Biden entered the race.

Sanders will likely win it if all the information comes out about Obama's abuse of power before the primary. Biden will be tainted.

You are. OT astute at politics. Bernie is totally faded. Warren is overtaking him on the radical left. Biden and Harris will be the ticket with Biden possibly pricing Tammy Duckworth as his running mate. These 2 combinations will beat Trump.

The establishment will do everything they can to keep him out. Sanders needs to push hard against the DNC and bring up how they rigged it in 2016. I could certainly see him winning the nomination but it'll be against Biden and the establishment

Sanders is a has been and has no chance. He mainly got so many votes because Clinton was so unpopular.

Doesn't really matter which sacrificial lamb gets the nod from the Dems....

The eventual Democrat nominee will have to go so far Left to satisfy their batzhit crazy base that they won't be able to recover in the General....

Thank you, Democrats for being crazy, violent morons and ASSURING President Trump CRUISES to an easy victory!

Prediction, Sanders wins the nomination.

You can predict all you want but the election and primary season is far off in the future. Much can happen.

I agree. I think Sanders win too. The media and establishment are trying to put him down but his followers are blind and loyal. Some of the other candidates push the same ideas but the voters know they are big government.
