Depends on who drops out early and who gets those votes. Biden and Bernie are almost guaranteed to stay in it until the end. I am curious to see what Pete does IMO.

If it comes down to Biden and Bernie at the end it is the democrats job to make sure Biden gets the job and not crazy Bernie.

However, Bernie will be selling how democrats stole 2016 from him and now they trying to steal 2020 from him. IMO I think if he slightly attacks the democrats that will help his polls.

2020 democrat nominee has to reach out to the moderates or its game over and we will gladly take trump for 4 more years

What better way to energize the Obama crowd against Trump than to run the closest politician to Obama (Biden)?

You are thinking in the right direction ,but wrong candidate. Michelle Obama is going to declare her candidacy close to the deadline and she will win the Democrat Nomination. They know Joe Biden does not stand a chance nor does anyone else who has declared and is viable for the Democrat Nomination either. They are going to put her in and hope her "celebrity" status wins it.

Super delegates are there for a reason. That reason is to prevent someone like Sanders from getting the nomination. DNC only wants to give the appearance that voters are choosing who the nomination is.

Supers gave the nod to Clinton. Neither Sanders nor Clinton had majority.

This time dem supers (Congress, big city mayors, Dem officials and govs) only vote on 2nd ballot or ensuing ballots.

IMO she is waiting for 2024. She will use trumps last 4 years to get herself back in the news, by bashing everything he does. If she runs now and loses she will be Hilary Clinton 2.0 and keep running until she wins. Which we all know never happen

After trump wins in 2020 there will be no one else who can lead the party, hence why she will just wait until 2024

Your boy Joe's coverage has been amazing, by comparison.

Is there any concern that the Bernie Bros will take their toys and go/stay home, though? Or a third party run, perhaps?

I agree with this, but Joe (the current frontrunner), is almost like Romney in 2012 (8th time is the charm), but with negative baggage more like WJC (not to that degree, of course, but without the charm and positives, either).

Bernie has no fight as proven when he had the nomination stolen last go around and immediately buckled and fought on behalf of his masters who rigged it against him. Bernie is too much of a gigantic puss.

You don't win the Democrat nomination, the DNC chooses their nominee behind closed doors then uses the media to get their voters to fill into line.

I just don't see the DNC picking Sanders. Trump would have too much fun running against an open socialist (closet communist).

1) If black people liked Bernie, he would be a shoe-in.

2) Black people don't like Bernie.

I think that was the original plan ,but I think they are going to go all in on this one and push her in early. You are correct there is a chance of it backfiring and becoming Hillary 2.0 ,but Jugg ears knows a 2nd term for Trump means his legacy will be wiped out. Again I think they are gonna gamble her "celebrity" power on this one.

Not that I’ve seen. Maybe among some, though. I think the sense is that Trump is a very vulnerable incumbent in spite of the economy. Someone who can flip his Midwest states and put NC and Georgia into play will be formidable.

What some of you call TDS can also be read as a barometer for how strong feelings are about Trump. Pretty much everyone who hates him (which is pretty much everyone who doesn't love him) would walk through hell in gasoline pajamas to vote him out.

There is plenty more dirt on Biden. The far left will help sink his nomination.

She better do it quick or she is just going to skip the first debate. The first debate is almost a month away

I can not wait and see them try to "calmly" yell at each other
