This is such a ridiculous statement.

Given the Hughes interview, I’d say these guys love America no matter who’s in the White House and their performance today would have been the same level of effort and commitment no matter what.

Awesome interview and a great win.

No Olympic win will ever replace Lake Placid in 1980 over the Soviets. Even though that wasn’t a medal game, that game to me was so huge.

Very few moments of my life do I recall as clearly as laying in front of our big old console TV hearing Al Michael’s “DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?”


I still choke up thinking about that now. Little 4th grade Mid IA Tiger was a happy boy that night.
