That's exactly what China is vying for in 2020. It's amazing the epicenter of the COVID19 pandemic is already approaching full economic output again, the only thing that's putting a roadblock in China returning to full economic output is falling demand for theirs products across the globe. I think China wants to use this moment of US economic shutdown to surpass the US as the undisputed economy heavyweight of the world. Will it be permanent? I don't thinks so but China is going to make a case by using many international organizations (UN, WHO, IMF, etc.) who are touting China's leadership during this pandemic that China is the country the world should turn to during a global crisis and the DimMedia is assisting them. What you read sounds crazy but watch the DimMedia and see how China is being portrayed to mindless Americans who believe their Dim propaganda....China is being portrayed as a country with strong leadership that handled the pandemic in a very effective manner and America has completely blown it's response to COVID19 due to a POTUS who downplayed the threat.

We all know the truth, China is to blame for the pandemic and Trump's response in preparing for the pandemic was based on guidance from Fauci and his team of experts.....Fauci is a hero to the left but they conveniently ignore many of Fauci's statements that downplayed the pandemic through January into early February. China wants to make their case to the world they're the country the world turns to for guidance in times of global crises and our DimMedia is assisting them.
