Highly unlikely. Incrementalism is the name of their game. The Constitution is rock solid, they'll never be able to change that. They will make a push to ban or outlaw something every time something like Las Vegas or Newtown happens, (never let a crisis go to waste) but they know trying to take guns will mean blood in the streets.
Ammo is the soft spot. Without it, the guns are useless. Anyone planning to defend to the end should have a stockpile of material to reload. I think you'll need it.

The thing is....we don't need to convince you of anything. While you are most certainly welcome to have your opinion, it doesn't mean more than anyone else's. It's not your place or anyone else's to interpret the 2nd ammendment for the rest of us.

I don't think it will be in the next 20 years, but I honestly feel like within the next 50, stars will align for them and they will get majority in all three branches and they will go hard after the 2A and negotiate to get some or all of them "banned" or maybe ammo, or something.
2nd amendment was never intended to prevent states from regulating which guns you carry, where you carry them, or how you carry them

There were .46 caliber repeating rifles with 20 rd magazines in 1779. They also already had breech loading weapons.
Knowledge man. It's useful.

Nope.

Cool. Don't need to.

Obama did his best. Fast and Furious was all about showing Americans that their Constitutional right was to blame for carnage around the world. The Obama administration had a plan, but it came apart on them.
Then Sandyhook happened. Look at Obama's reaction to it when they weren't able to separate law abiding people from their guns in the wake of that tragedy.
Folks like you want to make the NRA the boogeyman, but they are simply working to defend a Constitutional right. Your side makes heroes of those who defend almost everything else in the Constitution.

Nope. And the 1st ammendment never intended to prohibit people from falsely crying "fire" in a crowded venue. Yet here we are.

You're nucking futs! No. Nobody is taking all of our guns away! Grow up and stop being worked by the gun lobby you gullible, foolish SOB!! You may copy and paste for all you other paranoid stupid motherfrickers. Yup. I'm frustrated by The tinfoil hat crowd that populates this board.

Only because we refuse to be complacent. Can you honestly look at the policies and ideals of the Democratic Party and say that gun confiscation is not part of their utopia?

So you are worried about what will happen in the year 2067.
Good for you. I am worried about what I cam having for lunch.

The second amendment will never be repealed ,but they will change the methods. If full blown progressives ever get into power with a majority they will make owning any firearm so expensive that very few will be able to own them. They will tax each round to the point where you will not be able to buy them.
