Half black? If it gets you votes, I'm okay with it. Politicians have to do that. 1000th Indian is pretty weird though, that probably describes most Americans anyway.

I find most of the ultra-relgious types fall firmly into the creepy category. Not all of them, but most.

Unless he's been convicted of molesting children, why should it matter if he looks "creepy"? Some people aren't blessed with appealing appearances.

You didn't answer my question, so I had to do a little research. It seems this pastor publicly prayed over Donald Trump in the WH. If that is the incident you're talking about, then apparently it was in the Oval Office for the cameras. Not in a church for his congregation.
So yes, creepy and attention-whoring.

I've always found it fascinating that even here in the heart of the bible belt the clergy isn't held in especially high regard.

I'm in the Bible Belt and nearly every pastor I know or have known is generally held in high regard. I'm 60 years old and I only know one Methodist pastor who couldn't resist the temptation of an adulterous relationship.
