And when is the last time you’ve been right about something on here especially dealing with Trump?

Him, Roger and shiner think it’s a stupid take. We will see.

Hate to tell you, it is an absolutely moronic take and I cant believe how many people think that. Amazing!

Thanks for the that info.

I looked them up. It looks like the US has contributed over a billion dollars to their budget.

I'm sure Trump can persuade them to his way of thinking if they want to continue those nice contributions.

What did you look up? Is that annual? Cumulative since its inception in 1921? Was the 1 billion a one time contribution? You have a comparative and cumulative list of contributions from all other countries?

I read this on their finance page:
2024 Budget

They budgeted 3.6 million of contributions for 2024 alone and the US accounted for 107,771 of that. There are 7 countries that contribute more annually (Japan contributes the exact same). Unless you see something more definitive, I'm not sure losing 0.295% of their budgeted annual contributions is as big of a threat as you think.

How did you stop Obama from renaming Mt McKinley?

It may be the incorrect take but there has been many articles discussing why the name change will help with oil in the gulf by redefining the area and previous regulations.

It is the incorrect take. Trump is just having fun trolling the left. And good for him.

Imagine if every law that has the word Louisiana in it could be overturned by changing the name of the state. How about if someone was pardoned and then legally changed their name? No longer pardoned?

By the time they have stopped him from renaming the Gulf, remain in Mexico will be back in place, our northern border will be locked down, two wars will have ended, and gas will be 50 cents cheaper...

And they'll still be unhappy w/ his presidency because he's a convicted felon and an existential threat to democracy.

Trump could just recind the ban … he doesn’t need to rename the gulf to have drilling.

There is a reason he's doing it and this isn't to troll anyone. Who is the butt of the joke? Mexico. I think the terrifs are enough.
There is an angle, just watch.
He can end the moratorium, the som douch bag environmental group will sue in California and get the opening of drilling stayed until it is adjudicated.

They either allow drilling or they don't. Laws cannot be bypassed by changing the name or something. That's ridiculous.

Where did this insane idea get cooked up?

Trump should be able to cancel any moratorium that Biden instituted. But some name change is not the way to do it. The law is either valid or it's not.

Bjorn Cyborg was a convicted of a felony.

But Bjorn Droid was not! Legal name change, they can't touch you.

I don't think Scalia would fall for that either if he were alive.
