Spending is out of control, and neither party will fix it. Government is not by the people and for the people. It's absolutely corrupted. There is no constitution or rule of law. Voting does not matter. The largess and centralization of the very basic functions of government has created an ineffective and inefficient morass. Every single institution has been captured by special interests.

So whats the solution? At this point I feel like the only fix is a complete collapse of the federal reserve system. Something needs to happen to shake this shite up and we need to start this great experiment all over again.

The same way problems of liberty have been solved in the past.

Hint: It's not a long and exhaustive legislative process.

Yeah we are done. The mindless accepting Covid restrictions and free crap was the end. It was a good ride. Republicans aren't going to save us

I don't claim to have the complete answer.

But part of the answer is to eliminate gerrymandering. In Louisiana, for example, there is simply no way for an opposition party to win. Persons elected from such districts have no incentive to legislate from the center, as their only real opposition will come from their own party. Other states have similar problems.

I agree. The swamp is too big and deep. Why do you think the relentless attacks and hatred for Trump? He wasn't one of them attached to the cabal. The same bunch that owns media, DOJ, DOD, schools, big tech, Hollywood, union bosses, clergy... The same bunch thats paid to look the other way while ushering one world Govt.

It would help if Congress was to be come a virtual Congress so that those elected would spend almost all of their time in their home districts and states. Too many get elected saying and believing that which reflects their local constituency, go off to DC and conform to the pressures and influences there. They drink the swamp water and fall under the sway of the DC moon.

Keep 'em at home, eating in local restaurants, getting their hair cut by local barbers, seeing old friends and the local influence valence will remain a lot stronger.

Also, think of it in a "Designated Survivor" type scenario. Having Congress dispersed would be far more secure.

I hear what you're saying, but what good will this do if the voting system is compromised? Furthermore, is there really an "opposition party", or is it just two sides of the same coin?

I really do believe the federal government needs to collapse financially, and the country needs to rebuild from the states outward. I believe in DeSantis and the like. I believe in freedom and the constitution. I just hope enough people hold on to these beliefs that made this country great if the shite hits the fan.

this. I just saw that they are already slinging out old WaPo stories about Trump. they won't allow Trump near DC again, so we will have to settle a g a i n.

DeSantis said he is not running. I wish Hershel Walker would run.

All of this is correct. I’ve been voting Libertarian for decades and listening to clowns tell me how I’m ‘wasting my vote’. It’s beyond frustrating.

I’m convinced we need a reset.

We have a segment of society which is brazen in their desire to control us, deny us our rights, and others who are too shocked or brow beat into submission to do anything about it.

We either meekly follow Australia , or we don't.

I think the only saving grace would be the current generation in college. Once they come out of College seeing the lack of jobs and opportunity created by this mess (Dems, outsourcing, and Covid). We may see some changes. Only hope for anything non violent.
