I thought the DEMs had fricked it by not promoting moderation and focusing on the economy + the gerrymandering, but I had to re-tune things after that report about GOP internal polling came out + the Paxton/Talafreako polling aligning.

This is from RCP

I think the Univision poll is striking, because if you go look at Trump's 2024 map in TX he flipped a LOT of Latino areas that were blue in 2020/2022. If those areas flip back, it's going to be rough for the GOP. Paxton should still win, but it's tight butthole season for sure.

The observation is that the board is suddenly being flooded with anti-Trump trolls, and coordinated political astroturfing across online communities is hardly unprecedented. First you acted as though organizers couldn’t possibly exist; now you’ve retreated to “but why would they care about little old TD?”

At least the goalposts are getting some exercise this morning…

So now TD’s resident “Moderate” gets to define the “actual Right”? That’s rich coming from someone whose entire routine consists of arguing with conservatives and sneering at virtually every policy that leans right.

You’re not above the fray, SFP. You’re a garden-variety Leftist wearing a hall-monitor badge, forever lecturing everyone else about who qualifies as the “actual Right.”

But please, continue speaking from atop Mount SFP and deciding which political beliefs are sufficiently pure. There’s your clarification fatass

So can you define what you think "the right" is vs what you think the "left is?"

Let's just define some terms here and get on the same page.

What are the foundational philosophical assumptions of both sides?

What are the policies that those assumptions lead to?

P.S.—If you can't do that, it's ridiculous for you to criticize anyone else for their own conception of the right and left.

And that observation is wrong, as has been shown in this thread over and over.

It would be unprecedented here, and illogical to assume given the data.

People like you and OP are singling out and melting over long-time posters with long histories of supporting actual conservative policies who shifted to supporting Trumpism who now are rejecting Trumpism. Your thesis is that these people spent 10+ years posting, lying in wait just to spring into action like Democratic Manchurian candidates?

Example ITT

quote:

You're clearly a paid DEM operative who has invested 14 years and 100k posts lying in wait to spring a trap in fall, 2026

Y'all look like complete retards.

My 2 biggest motivations against MAGA have been

1. Fighting against Trump's economic leftism and leftist economic policies
2. Righting against rhetoric that makes the non-left look retarded (because who wants to be associated with those people?)

AI overview:

quote:

Yes, the sentence is grammatically correct, but its punctuation is highly unconventional and likely doesn't mean what you want it to mean. When you place quotation marks around separate individual words like this, it reads as a list of heavily isolated "scare quotes" or specific terms being cited from somewhere else.

I clarified they were "specific terms cited from somewhere else"

quote:

Given those exact quotes, your sentence is completely accurate in its phrasing, but you should adjust the quotation marks to match the source text perfectly.Because the original poster used the specific phrase "overwhelm the PT with... trolls" (assuming "tolls" was a typo for "trolls"), you should group that specific thought together. Here are the two best ways to format your sentence depending on how you want to handle their typo:

I'm being downvoted for asking a guy who is telling someone else that his concept of the right and left is incorrect to provide his own (ostensibly correct) definitions.

People react. If people are unhappy with increasing inflation, they will react. If people are unhappy with never ending conflicts in the ME, they will react.

I’ve never said anything about these “organizers” you’re referencing other than they aren’t any here. Do you have evidence of paid contributors on this website, or are you just hoping to become one?

Much of the criticism of Trump is coming from long-time posters who supported him. I bet if you looked at my post history in his first term, the only criticism you would find was when he did the Syria strikes. I would bet something similar with respect to a guy like NIH.

Trolls and alters and (I call them) sleeper accounts. You know the ones that only post at election time or when something high profile politically happens. There’s definitely bots and paid trolls on here.

It's clear to see when SFP is in a position where he can't address the question at hand directly, he begins to parse words. He's been doing that forever. He's an attorney, after all. It's what they do.
