That vaccine gave me the myocarditis/pericarditis combo that allowed me to incidentally discover the kidney cancer that would have killed me. So, it saved my life.

That said, it was never “compliance” to me. I foolishly trusted it, having grown up with a family full of physicians. It skewed my view of it, in retrospect.

What, you don't want a political caste system sorted by vaccination status?

I appreciate that dude's post, but as a Florida resident, it was a fairly easy and inconsequential decision

No vacc for me. Our office tried to force it and even sent us questionnaires if we had been vacc., and if not, did we plan to.

exception of #5- I think the age cut-off for recommendation was closer to 55 or 60. That’s where you really saw an exponential increase in lethality for Covid.

I agree with this. I should have used “at risk” instead of an age.

“Maybe but probably not”
Well, actualy all my symptoms-cough,fever and muscle aches were gone the next day.I did have lingering fatigue for 3 days.I suppose because of my age.(71 at the time)
Stepson,Dtr in law, grandson and granddaughter all had the same result, all their symptoms were gone in 24 hours. They didn’t have the lingering fatigue I did.

Fortunately, my employer didn't mandate it. Had they, I'm not certain that I could have resisted. I've got a wife and kids to feed and house.

OP mentioned trust.

The unvaxxed cheat group was completely deceptive in order to avoid consequences.

So if you had to chose who is more trustworthy you have to put them behind the defiant unvaxxed and reluctant vaxxed.

The population is composed mostly of herd animals. The American Revolution had roughly a 10% participant rate. The remainder just wanted to teabag each other, pay the new taxes and make the best of it.
So, most folks willful act of taking the jab didn't surprise me. It was the very quickly formed groupthink and stampede mentality and vile inertia of the masses that did surprise me.
The wranglers who rounded everyone up knew the herd, and the herds inclinations and habits. The COVID psych~op was a resounding success.

My employer tried to require it, but I had actually gotten it before I joined that company (I was laid off during the pandemic).

I disagree with the original comments while understanding both sides. I got the "vaccine" in April 2021, but it was never about "compliance" for me. I unfortunately have several hereditary conditions which, at the time, I believed made me more susceptible to dying from Covid or at least having a not fun time. I had strep pneumonia in 2018 and I knew if Covid was anything like that, I wanted nothing to do with it. That strep pneumonia had me hospitalized for 3 days.

Essentially I trusted my doctor and the medical community. I got the original Pfizer Covid "vaccine" in April 2021. Ironically in June 2021 I got Covid. And sure enough it stunk but it was just like the flu. Nothing even comparable to the strep pneumonia I had in 2018. In hindsight I wouldn't have gotten it or would've gotten the J&J shot.

But you can be on both sides. You can get the vaccine but still be completely against vaccine and mask mandates. I absolutely was horrified by the fact we came close to making unvaccinated people second class citizens. And I never shut down during the pandemic and never wore a mask unless I absolutely had to at a private establishment.

After the vaccine was shown to be a joke that did nothing, I didn't get any of the boosters and will not. I've wised up and am much more critical of the medical industry now.

But there were many of us who got the vaccine but were 100% against any vaccine/mask mandates. So to say we are sheep is ridiculous. I got the original vaccine because of my health and a decision with my doctor. Not to "comply".

And I do trust me doctor. After more information came out he flat out told me he wasn't recommending the boosters or any mRNA vaccines to his patients. So we both learned.
