It's a continuum, but I am certainly a socialist by the standards of this board.

Do I think that the government should own the means of production? No.

Do I think that the government has a role in buffering a free market? Yes.

By political economist standards, I don't think that makes a me a socialist.

Liberals don't see a country.

Just an open global community.

Controlled by Corporations, cheap imported labor and taxes.

You want them in healthcare, I'm guessing you call for massive financial regulation as well.

Corporatist.

Government regulation limits competition and protects BigCorp.

Neither side would be true to their belief's if they didn't want what they thought was best. Left nor Right. The problem for me is neither side is completely right about what they want and the winner take all mentally is grid locking each other to death. There's common ground on some issues, but leadership will be damned if they do by either side... because of nincompoops that can only see the other side as completely worthless pieces of shite.

The outgrowth is tribalism and each side wanting whatever upsets the other. You see it in the blatant hypocrisy of both sides over the last 20 years...and, unfortunately, that's the strategy the current marketplace mandates - no conversation, no legitimate debate and absolutely, under no circumstances, compromise.

You point is well taken. If I can restate it, you are saying this:

Hey, Judge. If you think the government should control the 20% of the GDP that is healthcare, then who do you think you are fooling by saying you aren't a socialist?

So maybe I am 80% non-socialist.

You really do make a good point. Let me cipher on it. I have not thought through whether my stance on healthcare makes me a socialist under the accepted definition. It might.

Less than you might think. And by financial regulation, I am assuming you are talking about things like Dodd-Frank.

I'm going catch a snooze. Y'all enjoy yourselves.

Peace to all.

Who's going to pay for all this

Look at the realtime situation in several European countries, including all of Scandinavia. They have cradle to grave health care, and state funded college, and even provide government stipends and pensions for artists. So what if the effective tax rate there is north of 50%? A survey just last year indicated that Danes are the happiest folks on the planet

I'm anti-semitic because I stated facts that the Jews run Hollywood, MSM and big corporations? I was merely claiming that they are more Democrat then Republican.

Sounds like you are a little self conscious.

Try researching the history of the Illuminati.

Liberals are only good for 1 single thing. Entertainment.

Whether it be dancing, making music or athletics it's litterally the only valuable traight they have.

Tribalism.

Is this so bad?
Imagine a world, where all of the human beings, live to the most of their capabilities every day, instead of staring at their phone,oh,and thinking that they are discovering new shite.

imagine a world, where we don't have herds of people.

You do realize Denmark is one of the least diverse nation's, right? Isn't that a bad think for you people? Our cultures are so different that nothing they do has the chance of working here.

Not to be smug but I have known this for years.

They are about power, control, and greed. That's it.
