Those same people will always vote for the lunatics over the GOP, It’s not what they say that matters, it’s what they do.

I know sane Democrats and I know insane Democrats. Most are insane.

But… if you don’t vote Dem, you’re a Nazi and a fascist.

You are the saddest, least joyful, ugliest (inside and out) group of people in human history. Life isn’t about doing what makes you happy all the time, it’s about being productive, procreating and raising a quality family, being a positive influence on your community, not the insanity you lefty’s thrive on!
I'm a conservative. I have four children and am expecting my 13th grandchild. I'm retired now, but I was so productive that I now give away three times more every year than the average household income in America.
I corrected an obvious misstatement, which I would have done regardless of political leanings. Most supporters of the democrat party are sane. If you don't believe that then you might be a little bit nuts.

As a former Dem, I completely agree here. The few acquaintances from my past that haven't ditched me because I don't think men are women are still bat shite insane. Still justifying Kirk being killed two weeks later.
When I think back to that point in my life, I too was a bit "off" when I supported most of that shite. Down to the point where I am now ashamed to admit it.

They may vey well have differing opinions on some issues, but that doesn’t make them crazy…
Do they believe in mothers killing their babies?
Do they support the sexual mutilation of children?

Just look at the elected idiots run most cities. And who voted them in.
Posted on 9/29/25 at 7:26 am to L5ut1g3r
exposing their stupidity won't do any good unless you mean exposing it to other conservatives. The 20% or so of the group I believe is a lost cause. These will be the same 20% celebrating Kirk's death. Mentally, emotionally, they are ill people

one of the hardest things one can do is admit they are wrong. People typically don't even allow themselves to consider it a possibliity.

Sanity to me is NOT going to the polls and thinking "Hmmm. Yes to more taxes! Yes to less personal freedom! Yes to the corruption of society!". Yet many do this every election. Those are the insane.
The problem is the ignorant. There was a black woman I worked with who was in complete agreement with almost everything conservative, but voted Democrat because that's what her family always did.

And who stirs the pot?
The media. When we didn't have 24/7/365 access in our hands constantly we were all better off. You heard/watched legitimate news sources and had real conversation. Both sides now use the airwaves to manipulate the mindset of too many, and the sad part is folks buy into it without taking a moment to sort it out for what it really is.

Since Trump got elected the first time I see how some of my so called friends have reacted on Facebook, which has exposed many of them. After Kirk's assassination and Jimmy's firing many sided with Jimmy and said nothing about Kirk.
Now I'm seeing some of these democrat moms with an autistic child going after Trump and RFKjr. on Facebook, for bringing many of these Tylenol studies to light yet they want to "shoot the messenger." I'm sort of wondering if the past Presidents and politicians kept the Tylenol studies on the down low, cause they might have been getting campaign contributions from Johnson and Johnson and now Kenvue - the makers of Tylenol. wink wink.

I know a few sane ones. I'd say that they are mostly afflicted with toxic empathy.
They feel so bad for everyone and their hardships that they are willing to elect candidates to enact the most damaging and asinine governmental policy on the basis of feeling bad for people.
Empathy is great on personal level or at church, but it makes for awful government policy.

The problem is that MAGA and many of you have shifted the scale to the right so that what has traditionally been considered moderate can be called “extreme left”
How do you figure that?
Tell you what, here's Ronald Reagan's campaign platform from 1980: Regan 1980
Controlling immigration, reducing crime, de-regulation, lowering taxes, reducing the size of government, strengthening the military are the main planks (listed in no particular order).
Seems to me that the only move the Republican Party has made in the last 45 years is to the left. Now we're allowing the federal government to own private corporations and imposing Bernie Sanders-style tariffs, a la Trump.
The left, on the other hand, during the same time frame has embraced black reparations, DEI, the Green New Deal, intersectional identity politics, men in women's spaces, LGBTQ marriage, abortion up to the minute of birth, Democratic Socialism, etc.
People who say the Republican Party has become "extreme" are high. Read the campaign platform. The Republican Party hasn't moved right in my lifetime, although they have moved left on some things.
