He obviously didn’t write the song himself
written by Kelley Lovelace, Kurt Allison, Neil Thrasher and Tully Kennedy, and produced by Aldean's longtime producer Michael Knox

He is definitely bro country, especially most of his recent stuff, but I think hes a lot differnt/far better than crap like Kane Brown and Florida Georgia Line

Country music has been done a long time ago. Another example of the progressive filth ( Thank u Captain Bengal ) authoritarians getting their panties in a wad over truth.
Thank Garth Brooks

I can agree with the sentiment and still recognize that it's a shitty song.

Huge red dirt Texas music fan especially late 90s early 2000s

Never liked him but because of the fuss
I listened about 10 times on the way to work. The song is crap but the message is true. The video was of real events. Growing up in small towns, his words are true. Like him or not, mainstream country or not, it’s hard to argue the song and video are lies.

The left hates country music and embraces pedophiles.

I was just thinking about blaring it in our yard in Missoula. When I moved here 18 years ago, it would have been nothing, maybe supported by most. I don’t think my immediate neighbors would care still. Some may like it. But the Mob is real here now (thanks Left Coast).
Maybe I’ll take my little speaker to campus or downtown and test the waters.
In any other time, I would have either never heard the song or just ignored/rolled eyes at it. But I love knowing it triggers America haters.

Because apparently his words are directed at black
Isn’t assuming that the degenerates mentioned in the song are directed at blacks inherently racist?
