We didn't hold the actual administration in charge of the initial pandemic response accountable

The administration, in fact any adminstration, must rely on subject matter experts to let them know what to do. Fauci was our subject matter expert on disease for decades, through many different admins.

Knowing this, how is Fauci not responsible? Subject matter experts, always accept liability if they give advice in the subject they are an expert in. That is the way the world works. Now you know!

But then it’s the experts fault. And experts only want congratulations for successes. No blame for failures.

So the actual employment of a strategy, including Kushner's idiotic role, isn't up for accountability?

Given the scale, suggesting one person and one person alone is responsible is absolutely idiotic.

Oh, they do get blamed. Many have gone to court and have been found at fault for many industrial accidents and have suffered the consequences.

The Admin during the intial phases of Covid, as well as the later admin, used Fauchi's recommendations for how to handle Covid. Therefore, Fauchi is the main one to blame

Who gave both admins that were on office during Covid the expert advice on how to handle Covid?

To think scale matters is idiotic.

An interesting take considering that’s exactly what the left is doing.

The legacy media isn’t touching this Fauci story, and it’s possibly the biggest scandal of them all.

Oh damn, we have all the big guns here, including a little man who promised 'he would put me up against the wall' and then deleted the post.

I have no idea what the legacy media is doing with respect to Fauci and have no idea how the scale of a pandemic response relates to accountability and what should be done with Fauci, but I'm sure you will give me an absolutely idiotic reply. Just don't delete it this time little man.

You should really stop. You look like a bigger horses arse with each stupid position you fling out. Little man.

You entered this thread being too busy for “Trumpian theatrics” thereby already esrablishing yourself as a jag off.

After being too busy for that you’ve now spent several hours confirming what a jag off you are

You should go back to whatever was keeping you so busy.

You and I have had this discussion in the past.

The challenge, as you delineated earlier, relates to a patient's ability to fully understand the science behind recommendations their doctors make. That differential in ability may not relate at all to intelligence, but rather to the years of focused study the physician has in a particular subject area. Bill Gates would be a great example. Obviously Gates is a bright guy. But he make some really stupid proclamations regarding medicine, even though he now has a focused interest in the field.

All that is to say, your personal patient-doctor relationship is predicated entirely on trust. Lose that, and you lose the ability to effectively communicate and advise. Lose the ability to effectively communicate and advise, and your efforts are a waste of your time, and worse for your patient.

Many physicians blew trust all to hell during Covid. They did it under the auspices of "consensus" rather than actual science, and they did so d/t not wanting to fall into the world of "crackpot conspiracy theories" Kristian Andersen addressed. They did it assuming they could bring their know-nothing patients along.

Sadly, Kristian Andersen was as duplicitous as the tailor in the "The Emperor's New Clothes" tale. Laypersons picked up on the theme. However, all those "consensus aware," Covidian compliant physicians (predominantly "cognitive" specialists) proved analogous to characters in the fairytale complementing the emperor on what a beautiful outfit the tailor had made for him.

I believe you may have suffered some of those characters as instructors.

In the end, your patients will rarely know anything close to what you do regarding disease, treatment, prognosis, alternative approaches, etc. But if they don't trust you, even if you provide the best information in the world to them, they're going to still seek out celebrities or charlatans or cool friends as "equivalent" sources of information.

Once ceded, trust is rarely regained. That loss is the patient's. However, the fault is with the physician. I suspect it is not something you were taught.

I thought you were the reading comprehension teacher in addition to the faux scientist.

It’s not that I don’t like what you’re writing. It’s that what you’re writing makes you look like a complete douche nozzle and biased idiot.

Perhaps this is your default setting and how you usually come off here.

If so, nozzle on.

Well let us educate you since you love to run your mouth about things you “don’t know about”.

The legacy media is radio silent on Fauci. They want to blame Trump for everything, and are named over and over again in the diaries as giddy fangirl accomplices to Fauci’s lies.

Fauci also admitted he knew he was lying to the public about masking, wet markets, his own vaccine injuries, and other key public health issues. He admits trying to paint Trump into corners so he would be forced to heed his advice. He got caught pressuring governors to close schools while lying to Americans about closing schools. He admitted to leveraging his friends in the media to spread his rhetoric- even feeding specific questions to reporters to guide interview topics with skeptical health experts. So the scale of his involvement, especially as our nations covid czar, is massive. Only a retard would claim otherwise.

Now you know.

Sure and no where am I denying this.

I mean, experience has taught me this, in addition to trying to build the 'therapeutic alliance' as it were. I personally think the structure of medical education incentivizes or self-selects specific personalities, which aid in the difficulty of understanding where patients come from with regards to their presentations. It's difficult to convey that the best answer for lots of questions is 'maybe' and have that be a satisfactory answer or to be clear and definitive with regards to pathology and the course of a disease or presentation. At the same time, the relationship I have with patients, the things they tell me, the emotions they show, the relationships you can develop with families, etc. is rewarding and once that is established, they know that they can freely disagree with a treatment plan or diagnosis and we can discuss it.

But individualizing the blame does not solve or move forward how we develop broader disease control strategies. If the desire is to move to some other countries vaccination schedule, that is completely fair. The justifications have to take in demographic considerations and discuss what is possible in this country with its own history.

In addition, the fact that the country has its own history with anti-vaccination campaigns means that many of the arguments against vaccination were developed and rebutted a long time ago, and those same arguments tend to become repeated to the degree that if you are aware of this history, then you would be remiss to suggest that the American public has been all that suggestible except for effectively one era, which was the 90's. That is not a narrative I necessarily believe, that the American public is one that is a demographic that follows expert suggestions to a T. Indeed, measles vaccination rates since 2000, and in general, compliance rates for treatment plans for things like diabetes don't suggest that.

There has been a very robust undercurrent of institutional distrust of the medical establishment for a long time, and that the arguments that end up being repeated are some of the same arguments that were used against smallpox vaccination, for example, suggests that there is little that will reach this particular demographic.
