School closures

As I said in a previous post to you, in a thread where you, myself, and I believe Smackover Hawg discussed this, I pointed out that because there was no viral exanthem or some other pathognomonic sign associated with infection that we had to turn our disease control strategy on its head. Thus, school closures, lockdowns, etc. were, in a proper disease control strategy, to be used as a last-line defense, not a first-line.

Here I was by the book, as I said that if the goal was disease eradication, then yes, children should be vaccinated, but if the goal was disease mitigation, then no.

I am saying that no one in the world would stand for a situation where their own words are misrepresented. How did you jump to 'accountability and public transparency' from that?

Go on.

I want to see you defend Fauci more.

Tell us how his own words are being misrepresented.

The results of this farce won't lead us any closer to that answer.
Yes they will. Regardless, TonyTakeTheFifthFauci got his reputation destroyed today. As he was previously a huge impediment to truth regarding that topic. That will be less of a problem moving forward.

No, I criticized him for playing 'pop psychologist.'

Are you? I mean, we both know that you'll invent things I said. At any point, you we can talk about my own words and we can discuss them. Perhaps I can teach you how to read paragraphs.

You have literally done it like twice in this thread already.

We will be no closer to a definitive answer tomorrow or six months from now than we were yesterday. Because, at its heart, the question is about things that you and I can understand, but not laypeople.

Read the whole sentence bud. Or are you that allergic to nuance that you'll ignore the conditionals in the sentence?

You don’t think that implies popularity?

Then you were wrong. At the point the EUA was offered, the CV19 vax was less effective, and in no way could it possibly have eradicated strains in circulation.

Are there complications, especially in male children, associated with the CV19 mRNA vax?

No. It is a reference to pop psychology. As in the literal, extant term that exists outside of apparently your understanding of words.

I’ll ask again, since you said Fauci’s words are being misrepresented…

How are Fauci’s words being misrepresented?

Again, in terms of the immunology, I was 100% right. You can look at my old posts and you can see where I differed from the establishment and my reasoning for that. I absolutely did not buy everything 'hook, line and sinker,' and certain things I said were prescient but expecting people to read my actual words is something I don't expect anymore.

Sure, I can absolutely be wrong in that respect. Given that I am unsure to this day whether the strategy was either control or eradication, it is hard to take a definitive stand on it. Obviously, now, the goal should have been control, and thus, no requirement for CV19 vaccination for children.

Yes, the famous myocarditis.

As in, Fauci was using methods popularized by pop psychology to suggest things which the evidence did not warrant. You realize this isn't the only thing I wrote about Fauci, right?

I don't hate HIM half as much as the mythological caricature the left has created around him.

He's a bureaucratic functionary. Nothing more, nothing less. Sadly, the left wants to have such people dictating basically EVERY facet of our lives.

I still stand by my statement from then, with the caveat that I presently hate both him and his mythological caricature about 5 fold from the amount I did at the time.

I probably also now realize, he's much more evil than just being the "bureaucratic functionary" I was generously characterizing him to be at the time. But, I've more and more come to believe and understand that they basically all are to varying degrees at this point.
