To be clear, Fauci's made my job more difficult, as addressing vaccine concerns, in general, are just a waste of time. The issue is that your imagination of what I said is far ahead of the things I actually said. There is no situation where anyone would stand for that, yet I am supposed to? And not for any benefit but for a farce of a public spectacle which won't help anyone in any way?

The positions I took, with respect to immunology, are reserved, nuanced, and full of my own heterodox views on disease control. The defenses I have made of Fauci are limited to mainly his career as a physician-scientist and to certain defenses I made of him during the AIDS crisis. What you want from me is not my own thoughts but capitulation to your worldview and that is just not ever going to happen.

Well, you could ask what my evidence is, and I could easily reply is the absolutely packed patient census I've had literally every working day for the last 5 years or so. This is across different hospital systems, in a few different states, and a few different areas of the country. If you, on the internet, insist that this is 'decreasing faith in medical institutions,' fine. I have decreased faith in medical institutions, but for entirely different reasons. But for your argument, one would think that it would show up in a meaningful way. Yet, it hasn't.
