The greatest threat to the US is internal. Too many thinking they should get something for nothing. Bloated budgets and deficits. Idiot judges twisting the Constitution instead of a literal interpretation or studying original intent. Morons promoting an Invasion by illegal aliens. Corrupt public officials making huge money AFTER entering office. People stirring racial hatred, pitting old vs young, rich vs poor, men vs women and idiots telling us that biology isn’t real. These dividers are the threat that Cicero eloquently described.

They are a bad actor, but they are the puppies of China. Their technology isn't precise enough to completely wipe out the U.S., far from it. They could kill a lot of people, but I suspect that China would wipe them out before we'd get there. I think the powers that be want to stay in power, which means they'll continue to build their crappy arsenal, make threats and piss off their neighbors while killing any dissenting opinions.

They just tried to launch their 2nd ever naval destroyer. It flipped over on its side at the dock with little Kim present at the ceremony. I think we'll be ok.

The book, Nuclear War, definitely portrays them as being a wildcard and a threat, but IMHO, the greatest threat to any empire comes from within. All past empires have fallen from the inside due to some of the same policies that we have had in place the last four years. Mostly immigration.

I love the argument of how we should start a war with any country that we think could maybe pose some hypothetical threat to us in some future scenario.
Let's go to war because we have conjured a fantasy in our minds of a doomsday switch scenario of a third world despot.

Yep.
I would put resolution over under at 2 days if NK started shite. They are weak as frick and probably couldnt provide enough accuracy on a nuke to hit a continent.
