Seems a little bit contrived to me.

My concept of God is a little old- fashioned, I guess: Father, Son and
Holy Spirit. Works for me.

While God is one in being, He is three in persons. When He says "us" and "our", I believe He is referring to the others persons of the Trinity. The Father is not the Son, so the Father can refer to Himself and the other members of the godhead as "we", but when He is referring to Himself only, He uses first person singular language. The Bible is full of first, second, and third person singular language referring to the Father or the Son or the Spirit, and uses plural language to refer to them together as persons.

God is a spirit and does not have a masculine or feminine material composition like we do, however the Father, Son, and Spirit are all referred to with masculine language using masculine pronouns. That doesn't mean they are "male" in a bodily or material sense (except for Jesus, who has a male body), but that God relates to us through gendered language, and He has spoken to us and revealed Himself identifying with the male gender primarily. Sometimes God utilizes feminine gendered language to describe His actions and intentions (Jesus likens Himself to a mother (female) hen who gathers her children in Matt. 23:37, though He is male), but, to use the leftist language, we should respect God's chosen pronouns.
