To be fair, this change pervades all online political discourse, so it's broader than just the poli board. More areas of life are subsumed by politics, more tribal epistemology, fewer shared sources of trusted info, etc.

I completely agree with you. The 2016 Trump campaign was the worst thing to happen to this site. Cpt Bengal calling everyone a cuck plus a massive influx of elderly posters from Alabama drove off a lot of the younger posters who had a sense of humor.

i like cubbies, ive defended her on this board, I respect that she at least tries to express opposition to the groupthink
But I started a simple question and I'll post it here for her again so she can take issue with my tone
I stated months ago that Western civilization as has been influenced by America esp post ww2 offers the best life for women and children that has ever existed on this earth
and she said it was not and I asked her so where do women and children have it better ?
America has her faults but we as a Nation have steadily tried to improve ourselves. To live up to that standard
Eatern Europe,Africa, Asia the Middle East treat woman and children as chattle
but a woman might have to travel to another state to kill her baby and libs/progs scream rape and murder
