No, he will just pull you over and check a database to see if you've properly turned in the guns you purchased with your Visa or Mastercard, or through an FFL holder. If you haven't, you go to jail and the police will execute a warrant on your home without you there. Unless, of course, you give up the goods on your neighbors. Then you will receive special treatment.
If/when the day comes, 95% of cops will go along to get along. Just like everyone else who needs to keep their job and peer group.

I'm confident that most cops are one of two things:
1. Good folks who know a bullshite law when they see one and refuse to comply.
2. Cowards and/or authoritarian assholes who will have a change of heart reaaaal goddamn quick when the first couple of their coward buddies get gunned down.
The good guy will refuse. The coward will flee.

Exactly. I know no cops or military members that are independently wealthy. So, what happens is they do what they are told or be fired.
They might like you, but they Love themselves and their families.
Cops and soldiers carry out missions they don’t personally agree with every day.
There would be people that fight back. They’d die quickly and the rest would stand down. The media would carry the water of the government and it’d be over without much of a whimper.
