This is obviously a very real possibility

Now let's say he starts crying election fraud again and eventually announces he's going to run in 2028

Anyone still support him then? If not would it only be due to age or would you just get fatigued from hearing about him ?

If yes I suppose please provide an explanation why you would still support him

No because this Trump political cycle will have been played out.

He would be 82 years old at that point.

No one should be in Federal office beyond 80. Time to go home.

Would assess then. His age would concern me. And don't say "crying election fraud" when it has been proven beyond any shadow of a doubt.

FIFY. I would put a max age to be elected (and if you hit that age in office, you're officially ineligible to run for reelection for another term).

Yes, I believe a significant number would still support him because he connected with some people and they will remain loyal to him. For myself, it would obviously be time to move on because primarily I’m not for keeping the same people in politics and secondarily for the reasons you mentioned: age and fatigue. In my view, I’m already there because I think two bites at the apple is enough but I’m not sure other people are there. Also, the Republican field is extremely weak; right now there are only two candidates I would consider voting for: Trump and DeSantis. And we don’t know if DeSantis will run.

Of course Trump won in 2020 and should be president now but country is being taken over from within. I am not sure if he had a chance but I will support him again, his age is a factor but not if he acts competent. Plenty of folks his age are, Biden not a good example of that!

It is not a mere possibility but an inescapable reality.

Trump is NEVER going to be President again because the bipartisan ruling regime has institutionalized ballot-stuffing to insure only regime approved candidates will be elected to the White House.

This is yet another reason why continuing to vote in this UniParty® charade is little more than a vote between the left and right wing of the Deep State.

I'd give him about a 10% chance in 24

Then why did they allow Trump to win in 16?

His age is a concern now. Biden should be in a rest home.

Buddy, there are people on this board that will write in Trump in the 2040 election when he is six feet under

Way ahead of you there. Already established a trust for my daughter where she has to send a selfie of herself voting for Trump every 4 years to the executor of my estate to keep drawing money.

I'm going to be voting for him even after he and I are both dead.

I think we’ll find out pretty quickly if Trump has any chance of recapturing the energy/magic again.

I suspect not, but I’ve doubted him before and been wrong.

I think there is a pretty reasonable likelihood (20%) he kicks off his campaign, it’s clearly not as big tent as before, and for some reason or another he moves aside. The question is if DeSantis or others see that happening, are they still going to sit on the sideline and leave it to Trump to make the move. Hard to see him doing it, but it’s also hard to see him being willing to stump for 2 years to waning audiences and enthusiasm.
