Hypothetical: Conservative GOP gains majority power in 2024... how do we fix immigration?

What policies can we put in place to fix immigration once and for all. And what happens to the 30-40 million undocumented illegals currently in the states.

Step 1: Amend the Posse Comitatus Act so that the military can be used to enforce immigration laws within 100 miles of the border. It has been amended before using defense appropriation bills and can be done so again and it can be done by reconciliation that way. That gives the government the manpower to patrol the border without costing anymore money.
Step 2: Deport illegal immigrants when they get arrested.
Step 3: Require employers to check the immigration status of their employees and fine them $100,000 per violation and make it a felony to have more than 5 violations which would carry a 10 year prison sentence.

Unfortunately this is true.
Even now, about the only ones who consider this a crisis are mayors and residents of border towns whose communities are being decimated and whose hospitals are being overrun by COVID (+) immigrants.

The Trump presidency is like in the movie braveheart where the nobles said they would support him but betray him when needed in the heat of battle aka the 2020 election.
If only the Republicans were a ruthless and hateful as the Dems, Trump would still be on office.
