The youtube video is somewhat funny.
The sweet good-morning to the neighbor? on a jog, the planning of it's a good day to wash the car, etc..
Then having to save his wife from a potentially rabid animal by using his bare hands.. And then he tosses it across the yard, whips out his gun, and proclaims he's going to shoot that F'er.

If it were the wife protecting the hubby by her throwing the bobcat while he cowered in the car it would be front page of the NYT and a made for TV movie.

Your link has more lessons within the article. Namely as to why is should be legal to kill a fleeing robber. Especially if it an armed robber.

A local man was arrested today and charged with violence against animals. When questioned about the incident and arrest, authorities said, "We can't have white Christian males of European descent going around attacking rabid animals and displaying masculinity and male chivalry. It's just not right, it's illegal, AND against the spirit of the culture now being implemented at all levels".

PETA gonna be pissssed!
That's a pretty small bobcat. I guarantee he would NOT grab one of the bobcats that hang around my place like that.
