Selling artwork is a big scam to get around the restrictions on fund raising. Buy some art at a high price and the funds make their way to the candidate.
Another is foundations. Donate to the foundation and the foundation gives to the candidate. The foundation is just cover to get around the rules.
Rich people do it for personal gain. Politicians do it for fundraising.

Serious question, why wasnt this income included in the child support figure for his child, heck 10% of that would be over 18k in addition to the paltry amount she was awarded. Im still trying to figure out how the child got so little in support each month.
