The Democratic party spent the better part of the last 20 years trying to convince everyone that the Constitution is a living breathing document that needs to be updated and revised often to match the times we live in. Never mind the fact that their is a way to amend the Constitution but their mantra has and continues to be received like a turd in the punch bowl and their is no support for their agenda.

Fast forward to the last 4 years, now their play book is to ignore the Constitution all together and force feed their ideology down everyone's throat.

If you should have learned anything these last few months it's that you can not count on the SC to up hold the Constitution either and just to make sure Biden will add Justices to the courts before 2022.

People knew the consequences of this election and now we see it unfolding. Period.

They will have to overcome the Judiciary Act of 1869 and its precedent. FDR tried this to force feed the New Deal in 1937. He lost then and this will lose now.

I get what you are saying normally would not think twice about it..

If these worthless politicians really wanted to make America safer they should build more prisons.

Commit a violent crime-go to jail for 20 years with no parole.
Commit a crime with a firearm-go to jail for life with no chance for parole.

If the penalties for committing crimes were extreme the vast number of people wouldnt commit them. And the ones who do break the law would be in a place where they couldnt do it again. Prison.

And before someone says it would be too expensive consider the costs saved by those persons not being on welfare, having babies (that taxpayers pay for), and also the costs of all the crimes they would have committed if they were free.

If I recall correctly, the Court started issuing Democrat friendly opinions in an effort to demonstrate that stacking was not necessary.

IDK if we have already seen that effect in action with this Court, or whether if the Court, like the rest of the establishment just hates Trump that much.

Pathetic and laughable, not to mention possibly unconstitutional on its face.

Add murder with no doubt....like 15 videos of you doing it ....One trip out back to the rice paddy, dig your own hole and climb in. $5 to the back of the head, no last meal, fifty years of challenges and tons of legal work.

Combs also pointed to the state's arrest of a man who had attempted to comply with the law as a major deterrent to many gun owners who feared trying to comply with the law could unwittingly place them in legal jeopardy.

"Moreover, many gun owners are resistant to registration schemes because they know that registration will lead to confiscations and arrests," he said. "And the news reports during the registration period about DOJ using the system to get warrants and conduct raids probably confirmed that viewpoint and made a lot of gun owners nervous."

The people in California knew it would just be a list of people to harass and round up. Our Govt officials are human scum.

Y'all are acting like this bill is already on Biden's desk, waiting for his signature. It won't even make it out of committee.

Something is coming. I doubt it will be as ridiculous as Jackson-Lee’s Bill. But, BS gun legislation is coming hard and fast.

I hope there is less compliance than there was in California.

California compliance is around 3%. Should be lower nationwide.

Where are they going to house all of those millions of new felons?

“No sir, I do not have those guns. Have not for a while. Not sure what to tell you. No, you may not search the house.”

As much as I hate to admit it, I would rather pay a lawyer than pay this kind of fine.
