Great point, less than 10 years ago Trump was a regular on the Stern Show to the point that Howard called him one of his favorite guests ever. Even right after Trump was elected he was still friendly when speaking about him. Then around that same Ellen interview he went full TDS. The flip was obvious.

I’ve been a Stern fan, but this post is spot on.
He is killing me re vax and mask talk constantly, and podcast episodes will make history, while none of his episodes other than 9/11/01 probably will be remembered at all.

This is me too. Been a listener for 15 years and always been a good show, even after Artie left. But now is the worst it's ever been.
I think it's more than Covid. Stern's starting to get near the end of his career. His parents will both die soon. Stern himself had some health scares. His crew is aging and originals like Ronnie are leaving. People are starting to listen to other forms of media, it's no longer either regular or satellite radio.
Combine all of this with having to do a radio show from home now, I think his world has been turned upside down so he looks for an outlet to blame, and that's Republicans and Covid.
