The CDC projected that the H1N1 pandemic had worldwide cases from 700 MILLION to 1.4 BILLION. The U.S. had nearly 61 MILLION cases, and 12,469 deaths. Thats for an entire YEAR - from April 2009 to April 2010.

4,876 cases for every 1 death, or a .021% (0.000205) mortality rate.

In less than 2 months, we've had 164,266 cases in the U.S., and 3,170 deaths to COVID-19. That's 52 cases for every 1 COVID-19 death, or a 1.93% (0.0193) mortality rate.

That's NINETY-FOUR TIMES the rate of H1N1!!!

And Trump calls how Obama handled the H1N1 to be a disaster, while how his administration is handling COVID-19 to be a "10 out of 10".

We're literally dealing with something that may be a HUNDRED TIMES WORSE than the H1N1 flu. WHY THE frick should this be dealt with the same way by the media????

One big difference would be the tone of the media coverage.

I'm not talking about them being more supportive of her than they are of Trump.

I'm saying they would present the situation in a more hopeful manner.

It's been shameful how they have chosen doom and gloom over a can-do, American-style spirit of using our vast resources to adapt and overcome the challenges.
