I don't, no.

Words are symbols that direct to an objective referent. “Gulf of Mexico” was referring to a specific body of water. Changing the name to “Gulf of America” does not change the referent. Courts are not going to suddenly not know what body of water was meant by “Gulf of Mexico” nor should they.
Word games are for leftists who believe in moral and linguistic subjectivity. Conservatives are above that nonsense.

I have no qualms with renaming the GoM to GoA, but who do you make that claim towards? How would one make it official?
Are you aware that different countries call things different names?
Ranging from mountain ranges, to oceans, to lakes, to seas, to even the country itself?
This would only govern what the United States calls it.

I would assume that we would make it so anyone who refuses to say Gulf of America or The Sea of Trump would face the death penalty. I sure wouldn’t want these people to be walking the streets misnaming major bodies of water.

The same damn way the left made military bases renamed because they felt triggered

People can call it what they want
Just if they chose not to say gulf of America they will be wrong.

This is extremely common.

The most prominent example of a mountain with different names depending on the country is Mount Everest, which is called "Chomolungma" in Tibetan and "Sagarmatha" in Nepali, while the English name is "Mount Everest" - reflecting the different cultural perspectives on the mountain and the historical naming by British surveyors;

The Japanese government supports the exclusive use of the name "Sea of Japan" (Japanese: ???), while South Korea supports the alternative name "East Sea" (Korean: ??; Hanja: ??), and North Korea supports the name "Korean East Sea" (????; ????).

The lake that is called different names by different countries is Lake Malawi, which is also known as Lake Nyasa in Tanzania and Lago Niassa in Mozambique; essentially, the same body of water with different names depending on the country you're in.

He already did. Most of us will now call it Gulf Of America no matter if it is official or not. So that's how.

Only retards get excited about this kind of idiotic nonsense.

People are still going to call it the GoM.
Not this patriot.
Plus most just call it the The Gulf anyway

If it’s in your own country it’s easy. If it’s in International waters there is no guarantee that other countries will recognize it. A lot of South Americans consider themselves American also.
