With the Biden/Harris presidency about to begin, I want to see what everyone predicts for how your every day life will change between now and summer 2024...I'll try to bookmark the thread and return to it in 2024.

I live in the UK, so I doubt my life as an American here will change much, except that US politics will go back to not being talked about as much (I won't get constant Trump questions).

I'm interested to see how you think your everyday life will change (realistic answers please!)

I guess I just mean deep into the coming presidential term...doesn't have to be exactly summer 2024...

I assume the economic impact will be muddied a lot by COVID, and will probably get the blame by either side depending on which way it goes...

Basically the same day to day. There may be some policies that effect when I file taxes, or make cost of living increase a bit.

But I will wake up drive to work, and watch LSU on the weekends like normal.

I expect the economy to stagnate. I expect my gas prices to almost double. I expect to pay a couple thousand more in taxes and I expect the stock market to become mediocre with low returns for 401k’s.

I expect the tech tyranny to ramp up. I expect conservatives to be ostracized to levels yet to be seen. I also expect to see levels of blatant racism against whites to accelerate at unprecedented rates.

I’ll prob be out of a job , due to qualified immunity being lifted for police officers . If it’s not , then I will make less money due to OT being cut because if the poor economy , and details Will be slim to none because the poor economy also. You dont have to defund the police get rid of qualified immunity and you do it by police officers quitting. Now any person I arrest or have a conflict with can sue me directly . No Thank You!

It’s really hard to say. If I catch a chick with a dick in the bathroom with my daughter, I will be imprisoned.

Raise in taxes.

Something bad happening to my 401K, whether it gets nationalized or outright taken for reparations payments or some other bullshite.

It will be illegal to have a conservative voice. They're already sending a message to Republican politicians and Republican voters.

I believe Harris will pass a law that makes it public record who everyone voted for.

I don't know if I'll ever have to go to a re-education camp, but I'm certainly not ruling it out.

I fully expect to be paying $5/gallon in gas.
