It's not even going to be attempted. I don't know if anybody has the political will to be the big baddy on this, but I know who doesn't.
I'll take slowing the flow and getting rid of trouble makers, but we could round people up and deport them if we had the will to do so.

Announce that “well, any illegal making it into Mass. will be just beyond our ability to deport”. This is all that would need to be done. Mass residents will take care of the situation within the first year.

As I was saying, the states that do this will become magnets for illegals. No federal funds to support them and the locals will very quickly grow tired of it and start reporting them.

Best thing he can do is run adds everyday reminding them that he's going to remove them and if they leave on their own they have a chance for asylum. if they dont start leaving, send ICE and busses to NYC Hotels and start loading them up.

If people are legitimately expecting the government to round up the illegal immigrants in this country and send them back, then they're going to be massively disappointed. It's logically impossible.
It's campaign rhetoric, just like Kamala saying she'd protect abortion rights and stop price gouging, no way she could do those things.
Actual realistic goals are sending every illegal in prison back, stopping any kind of federal assistance for illegals, and enforcing the labor laws we already have.
A lot of this will have to be done at the state and local levels though.

Yes, all this. Plus, reinstate the enforcement of immigration detainers. Any illegal arrested for a crime gets deported whether they are convicted of the crime (besides illegal entry/reentry) or not.
Punish jurisdictions that claim “sanctuary city status” by withholding federal funding.
Basically, go back to the 2000’s.
You will need to increase the number of immigration courts and deportation agents.
You won’t really need to do round ups, except for known criminal activities known immigrant areas.

What a great way to make things easier for those looking to deport illegal immigrants! Come together in one large group and commit violent crimes making it that much easier for the courts to deport you. Brilliant move.

If you look at what Trump did last term, he didn`t follow through on mass deportation.
He went after gangs and criminals here illegally.
He definitely needs to cut off all funding to illegals and so called sanctuary cities.

Here is how I would do it:
1. Deport every criminal illegal immigrant currently incarcerated.
2. Fully fund the wall and fast track building it
3. End birthright citizenship
4. Reinstate remain in Mexico policy
5. End all illegal immigrant government assistance
6. Charge remaining illegal immigrants with criminal charges already on books
7. Defund sanctuary cities
8. Activate National Guard to deport.
