Question: What do you think of Black Lives Matter?
Answer: Please clarify, do you mean the phrase or the organization?

I think that's a good starting point.
Nothing wrong with the phrase obviously but that doesn't mean that you have to adopt the tenants of the organization which have pretty much nothing to do with the phrase.

BLM is a trained Marxist organization.
That’s how I now respond.

I have to give BLM some credit. What a brilliant branding they have done by blending these two the way they have

I support the phrase
Specificlaly in relation to criminal justice reform. But then I’d shift to say all lives matter because innocent whites and other races are killed by cops and innocent cops are killed in the line duty.
End civil asset forfeiture
End no knock warrants
Fund police to get more hours of training. No more choking and kneeling on necks and backs.
That’s it.
I fervently do not support BLM organization. It is a Marxist group.

Agree with the phrase. Don’t support the organization.

You mean America's second terrorist organization, just behind the KKK?
Funny how the democrats keep doing this.

Black Lives Matter is the American equivalent of the Maoist Red Guard.

Look, you guys suck at branding. Calling them marxists and Maoists is going to be met by blank stares.
They need to be branded as separatists, that's simple enough for the sheep to digest.

You think the sheep will understand what that means?

Say everyone supports the phrase, but not everyone supports the entire political movement (defund police & free Palestine along with other radical ideas). Similarly to probably how the person asking doesn’t support the phrase making America great again, but certainly agrees with wanting America to be great.

I think a lot of the ideas revolving around criminal justice reform and acknowledging the raw deal American blacks have received historically are complete legit.
I think the BLM movement is aimless allowing it to be hijacked by radicals with incredibly dangerous ideas and motivations.
I think black Americans with legitimate concerns are once again being used for purposes against their interests.
I think Kaepernick is fraud and I have zero respect for him.
I think “All Lives Matter” is a bad response and misses the point.
I think Derrick Chauvin is a murder.
I think the two rednecks that killed Arbery should spend the rest of their lives in jail.
I think Officer Roth was completely justified in killing Brooks.
I’m tired of shallow, simple opinions on complex issues.
I’m tired of an incompetent and fraudulent media.
I’m tired of the political parties.

Nah. I’m not sharing my opinion on BLM publicly with anyone who is too dumb to know what Marxism is.

The simplest way to diffuse this would be to say:
“Black lives have always mattered to me. What about you?”
Which opens a window to discuss crime in general along with abortion stats
Platitudes meant to pander come across as disingenuous/opportunistic , which is why I refuse to be pressured into commenting about a political movement that has an agenda
PS: this is how I will respond if asked in a public setting

Answer: ALL Black lives matter. (this includes those disproportionately affected by Abortion Clinics and living in Democratically controlled urban centers (e.g. Chicago)

"Unlike most black people, all black lives matter to me, including the ones killed by black people."

BLM is a racist statement (meaning in the context they are presenting it). Whatever BLM was, is more or less gone now... so now its a combination of racist, fascist and genocidal type religious movement.
BLM was started to cover up the failures a portion of the population and to place blame for those failures on everyone but themselves as individuals and groups. Obviously, the racist BLM movement has been hijacked by radical extremist pasties.

Racist.

Both.
But, the organization is also a liberal cloak for socialist.
Truly All Lives Matter. And use of ALL as an appeal for equality for any and all races is the moral high ground. Black is used to divide and promote “Democratic Socialism”.
