it does in every single country where theyre banned, but the US will someone be completely unaffected.

can you explain that?

south/central american countries with gun bans don't have a good track record on violent crimes

also, the US is just an outlier when compared to our developed-Western counterparts across the board. this is no different

we are too big, too free, and too individual in our mindset to be compared to anyone else. this leads to a lot of amazing things, but it also leads to some terrible things

i actually think the media has done a decent job at making the shooters less of a story than they used to. its far from great but its going in the right direction. i can still name the columbine shooters for example, but not the Sandy Hook freak or whoever shut up the movie theater in Colorado or even the Boston Bombers. i have MSM as a home page and i dont think ive seen the Florida guy as a headline once, its all been about the victims and banning the AR-15.

How many people need to be killed by illegals before we build a wall? 100 a day, 1000 a day or 100000 a day? Where do you draw the line? Unlike banning guns, building a wall doesn’t infringe on any citizens rights or violate any part of the constitution.

Chicago has the toughest gun laws in the United States
and those are irrelevant since you can buy a gun literally 100 yards away and walk into Chicago with it. a city or even state with specific laws does very little.

the US has 4.88 homicides per 100,000 people per year. Canada has 1.68. The UK has 0.92. France has 1.58. Germany has 0.85. Spain has 0.66.

oh but thats all just coincidence, its liberal hype because they want to take our guns for no reason.

a. don't try to bring up our total homicide rate in a thread about "school shootings" because you're comparing apples to nuclear submarines

b. the reason why we have more violent crime is because of our underclass, which i referenced in my last post. you cannot compare the US to these countries for this reason, for all sorts of variables (education, obesity, health, etc)

Maybe it has more to do with the people/society/culture. Ask yourself culturally what is the biggest difference between our culture in 1964 and our culture today. Surely the answer is obvious, it’s the erosion of the nuclear family and traditional family values. And who is responsible for this erosion? The Democratic Party and their socialist agendas. So if u want less mass shootings, maybe u should vote R next election cycle to help bring back those traditional family values.

Yes of course, its obviously video games and the gays fault that more people are committing mass shootings /s

Are you ready to finally admit your "gun ban" has zero to do with saving lives?

Everyone will take you seriously if you finally just admit it. Saving lives has ZERO to do with why you want guns banned. Just admit it already.

So you’re telling me that criminals ignore laws? By all means let’s just make more laws for them to ignore.

So if your states argument is to be taken seriously why can't drug cartels adjust and run guns north, much like Chicago getting flooded by Indiana?

So I can only assume you have moved on to your true want, complete ban of any and all weapons.

That's a Whole Lot of Guns

How does a buy ban prevent the use of firearms already available to the public? Do you expect people to just turn them over? Do you expect our law enforcement to confiscate them?

I keep hearing people scream gun control or gun ban but provide no substance or solution.

Eta: Thats only registered firearms. Not counting how many illegal guns there are owned by criminals, or the guns Obama and Co. handed out to the cartels.
