I was talking to my wife about this. I believe there are a lot of people out there that will vote Trump and never tell anyone about it. I mean they will lie to their family and friends because they feel like they must. That's whats great about voting, in the end it's your choice and you can lie about it if you want to. I voted Trump and will tell everybody who ask, but I live in Tennessee. What if you live in New York or Nevada?

Hope it’s the people who ultimately vote with their wallets .

If you knew you were gonna make your own taxes go up by voting for Biden, and his immediate repeal of the Trump tax cuts... I bet at the booth that will make the difference

"Millions"
That's what I think to. People will tell their friends and family they voted Biden, but will vote Trump. They'll take it to their damn graves.

I just visited my in-laws in a wealthy area of Sacramento (East Sac). The houses there go from about $500K for a tiny bungalow, to well into the millions. There are definitely people there that are Republicans. However, I saw one Trump sign the entire time we were there, and there are several thousand houses in this part of town.

I have absolutely no doubt that the majority of people there will be voting for Biden. After all, it's an area of town that's only 2 miles from the California State Capitol building. But the ratio of Biden voters to Trump voters isn't nearly as high as political signs in the area would have you believe. They absolutely have to hide it from the neighbors, and my FIL (Democrat) admits it, even though he despises the portion of his party that would damage property or accost someone on the street because of their political beliefs.

It’s amazing that these people will willingly want to give up their money. It’s hard for me to conceptualize the stupidity

Nobody asks me who I voted for, practically ever.

If they did, I would happily tell them...

I think people who know their liberal friends and family would absolutely freak and either cut off their relationship or else make life miserable for them and it isn’t worth the grief. These will keep it quiet.

This. Now that I think about it, I believe I've only been asked straight out maybe 2-3 times in my lifetime. Sometimes I've been asked where I fall on the liberal/conservative spectrum or what I think about a particular issues but, like you said, almost never just straight up.

Lots of suburban women that say they won't among their friends and then go vote Trump with closed curtains.

I made a promise to my wife to never post on social media or publicly claim that I support Trump, that has my name tied to it.

I told her this site is the lone exception because most people here are Trump supporters.
