What's the cutoff age? 35?

My brother is going in March.

I served in Iraq and my brother in Afghanistan.
We’re both still in the IRR.

I served and went over the first time. If they call me back, I’d go but they should know I’m 50% disabled

Sorry. I would be of no use. I was a missile tech when the A2 Polaris Missile was the deterrent to Soviet aggression. However, an A2 in Tehran would end Iran aggression.

You?
Old retired and fat now:
LSU grad and Artillery officer. Was in Desert Storm, Germany, Ft. Sill, Ft. Irwin, Korea, Ft. Hood, among other short TDY stints here and there.
Father and older brother are also retired Army officers, one ADA and one Infantry.
Thank you for your service, and thank you for answering.
So, I surmised from your OP that you fear a full blown kinetic boots on ground type war with Iran. Why?

Way too many arky progstains.

I'm already retired military. What more do you want from me?

I fear nothing, including China and Russia... But I don't encourage war either, and I would NEVER encourage war without planning on being part of it.

OK, I appreciate your answer. I don't encourage war myself. It is the worst of the worst and all hyperbolic words to describe the death and destruction cannot begin to describe it for those who haven't seen it.
I'll move on then, and ask this: How is this quite strongly measured response to the Quds force commander of Iran going to encourage war without planning? How do you know there hasn't been and currently isn't planning? There is planning. I see reasonable and prudent defensive and prepared postures being taken by the United States thus far. Lest we not forget, it was the Iranians by proxy that started this mess. I applaud our efforts and the foresight by the President and CENTCOM thus far.

In other words opinions don't matter.

We have war plans for every region. You and I both know this... I'm referring to myself when speaking of planning.
