On a scale of 1-10, right now, I would say maybe a 2 or 3. What will change my calculation is if Iran succeeds in drawing China/Russia into the fray. Russia/China doesn't need to send any ground troops, all they need to do is keep resupplying Iran with munitions and weapon systems and that could really increase the possibilities of a full scale global war.

I don't think Russia has a lot of military hardware to spare but on the other hand Russia knows the US won't be sending a shite ton of military hardware to Ukraine now that the US is busy lighting up Iran........Now China? That's an unknown as to what type of military equipment they would be willing to backdoor into the Islamic Regime.

Putin's family was hardcore Communist; his grandfather was one of Stalin's cooks, Putin was placed in the KGB and grained control of the Russia mob.

Putin due to his believes is easily mislead, see the Ukrainian war. Putin truly believed the Ukrainians would see him as a liberator, this due to his upbringing.

He is about 24.6% of the chance of WWWIII.

He still thinks of Russian as the Soviet Union super power it was and not the 3rd rate world power it is today.

He foolishly sent a generation to war in the Ukraine, it a country already short of manpower and now are falling far behind on the next generation.

Other main factor is China and their planned move to the south, in which have you heard they are started to arm their merchants ships for war?
