I watched it, thought it was pretty dumb really.. Same old crap, bi'racial chic is confused about herself. She is a daddy girl but her daddy is white. She feels her people are oppressed someway but she is getting banged by her white BF.. Then in the end the rich white Frat boys throw a party dressing up like rappers and gangbangers and the blacks go off and crash the party because they being made fun of.. By the way rich white guys are the worst people on earth in this flick, same old crap... Not the hood rats their black bros and daughters all over the place, in real life...

I'll preface this by saying I can't speak to the series. That being said, the 2014 movie is a satire with the major overarching theme being the mockery of white SJW falling over themselves to apologize and relate to blacks and, in the process, making race relations worse.
Name of tv show/ movie plus the trailer - their only job is to appeal to the most people possible to get as many eyeballs on the movie/ tv show as possible.
Horrific failure if it was supposed to be "satire". The writer of the show tweeting out "frick white people" and following that tweet with "no seriously frick white people" doesn't help your 'lol it's only satire' bit in the least.
There is literally no other way to spin it other than a failure. If you have to complain on a message board that people need to have seen a 4 year old movie in order to understand why a 38 second trailer didn't look exactly as it seems only belabors the point.
Netflix will go on with the show. There will be no season 2. I don't cancel my Netflix because I enjoy the other content and hopefully Netflix and any other dumb frick for profit corporation learns not to alienate their subscribers with bullshite content

Sounds like it could be funny and amusing. The white SJWs will be doing funny things and saying funny things while the People of Color look upon them with pathos, sympathy and confusion.

Using the Netflix voting system probably has more of an influence on content than boycotting anyway.
