Based on the endless posts about it here, I'm gonna guess almost none.

I'll preface this by saying I can't speak to the series. That being said, the 2014 movie is a satire with the major overarching theme being the mockery of white SJW falling over themselves to apologize and relate to blacks and, in the process, making race relations worse.

It is NOT about evil white people oppressing blacks. It is not a BLM-motivated film. It's not about most of the things you guys seem to think it's about.

This isn't about facts, silly, it's about symbols.

So? Be that as it may, we can find something else to be angry about in no time. There's this new dark comedy/horror film coming out and there may be some jungle feva themes in it that we don't like....

Grrrrrrrr.

I saw it. It was just ok. And yes it was satirical but not really in a clever sort of way. The mixed girl ended up with a white guy right? So the ending could have been better.

So your post, it's an example of what this movie was mocking, right?

The irony is most here would agree with many of the themes in the movie if they actually watched it.

The Poli Board is great at reviewing movies that have never been seen. I remember when the latest Mad Max movie was supposed to be an indoctrination into SJW living.

It was a 6.5/10 IMO

The main character essentially realizes how stupid racial identity politics are

This seems like the Starbucks cup controversy. Manufactured and faked to draw attention to the product.

I probably won't watch the movie unless it comes on Netflix or Amazon prime....and I happen notice it.

I'll likely not watch.

Still find it funny that so many people get pissed off about a movie, which they didn't watch, and proceed to "boycott" Netflix and/or cancel their account.

People on both sides need to man up. This whole protest/boycott BS is a tired act.

Saw it. It was OK. If the show is like the movie then it's not racist at all.

Seen both, neither is very good. The whites in the movie are life long democrats. The type of people who put Robert Byrd in office.

That was the subtle message. It was a movie released to try and influence a generation of young people to drop out of society and support the ultra-Progressive cause. It was directed and produced by other mentally ill people like yourself mmcgrath. All in an attempt to bring down this great country which has been touched by the hand of God over it's 240 year run of greatness. But we still have our guns. Those you will never get by God.

Nobody watched it, which kinda proves the point of why making it into a tv show is so dumb.

I could take a big steaming poop in my hand and it would be more productive than watching this show; satire or not....
