I really wasn’t considering Sessions until I heard that he could retain some of his seniority. That’s a big deal IMO considering Shelby will be retiring in the next 5 years. A state like Alabama needs all the help it can get to bring in those projects.
Tuberville has always been a sleazy, pandering snake oil salesman. He’s basically a politician without an office. It’s absolutely silly to think that he’s some outsider doing this out of some sense of patriotic duty.

I would prefer a civil libertarian, but I will settle for a not Doug Jones.

I'm thinking my vote goes to Tubbs. I think Sessions had his day and it's time to move on. I don't know anything about Byrne. Can someone in the know fill us in on what Byrne is all about?

Voting for Tuberville.
Yesterday Sessions was on Twitter saying Tuberville was not behind President Trump and had his video where he is talking about the President not doing enough for veterans.
Sessions was going after Tuberville for being the candidate who is not behind the President.
Jeff Sessions.
And the sheep were on Twitter just eating it up. Freaking oblivious clowns. I'm sorry, but there are a lot Repub voters out that that are just as clueless as the folks on the left.

Is this where elephants and tiggers join together in kumbaya? Only Trump could make this happen

I will vote for Tubs. No clue if he will be a decent Senator or not, but I know for certain the turd we would be getting in Sessions. I’ll take my chances on the unknown in this case.

I made my largest political donation ever to the Tuberville campaign. But, I am worried that Sessions will win. He will get most of the Bradley Byrne supporters when he drops out. Both are Mobile blue bloods. I hate Sessions almost as much as Jones. He's part of the swamp and not only was it a HUGE mistake to recuse himself but he also didn't do anything to prosecute or even investigate the deep state. Barr had to start the whole thing from scratch when he got in office.

I'll more than likely vote for Tuberville. I'm still deciding between him and Byrne. My brother is definitely voting for Tuberville but one of my family members, a Republican who loves Rinos, is voting for Sessions. BTW, this same family member stayed at home and didn't vote in the special election between Doug Jones and Roy Moore. I make a point of reminding them to be thankful that the Kav vote and now impeachment removal didn't come down to Doug Jones.

I heard Byrn on the radio this morning just damn near lie by taking one sentence out of context from a statement made by Coach Tubs concerning immigration. I'll vote for the elf before I'll vote for this guy. No way Tubs said that all illegals should be given a job, benefits and amnesty. Byrn is a typical politician. Vote for Wingnut

Tubs his holding his own at this point and that might be a good sign. He is new to this and all Sessions had to do was fire up his old campaign and get money coming in. Tubs is at a real disadvantage when compared to Sessions and Byrne so holding his own might give him and edge.
I'll vote for Tubs in the primary and the runoff and hope he can beat the machine.

Sessions was the most disappointing AG in my lifetime.

I know Roy Moore. Tommy T. is no Roy Moore.

This post could have come from my own lips (fingertips).
I really don't care for any of the candidates, but it cannot be denied that having someone with clout helps business.
As a side note, it always amazes me that topics like this one always devolve into a mess where every candidate 'is a swamp creature' or a sheep in wolf's clothing. Which, in Alabama, may be true.
