Was feeling pretty shitty last week and I've been stuck. Fatigue, aches, dizziness and a little nausea. Maybe it was and I was a "breakthrough", maybe it wasn't. Just chilled at home and worked. After getting the vax, I feel the same way about additional tests that I do about masks. Ain't doing it. Getting stuck was my contribution to curbing this. Not going back to wearing face diapers or getting Q-Tips jammed up my nose. I'm done.

In late 2019 my wife and I got sick with a fever and runny nose and chest congestion. About 8 weeks before the schools shut down. Never got tested but have been exposed to covid numerous times. We drive a school bus. 2 weeks ago grandson, son and daughter in law all came down with covid. We were with them all weekend. We didnt get sick. We are 75 years old. Antibodies rule.

I'll own up to getting tested.

I became mildly symptomatic while golfing last Sunday. Work requires a positive test to be allowed to work from home for the 10 day period. I would have gone to work the rest of the week exposing people if I didn't get tested. I don't want to be responsible for spreading this to people that are vulnerable. I work and golf with older people. Just not worth the chances of infecting them. It's been miserable for a few days, but not life ending for me.

So be it if I'm another number. I'm also another "survivor" in the 99.9%+ number. Not any more special than the rest, but keeping the recovery average super high.

The political side of this is the worst. If we let doctors treat as they see fit, allow medicine to go through clinical trials based on efficacy rather than monetization, the country and world would be so much better. Instead you have pharma and politicians banking on this thing, blocking effective, and cheap treatment. My $.02 is not to attack the testing but attack the politicians that are hindering progress in treating this thing into global remission. And identifying the source of the disease. That's where the real answers are and it's the thing government is standing in the way of.

I'd love nothing more than to see every politician that has stood in the way burnt at the stake.

There’s very little value to know for certain that you have Covid.

So maybe you won't spread it to others. That being said, I do wonder how many times have I given the simple flu to someone that was then eventually passed on to an elderly person who died from it? There's no way to know.

December 2020 Christmas Eve the wife (no pics) started getting cold symptoms. Felt like crap Christmas morning. Went to dr office and they chaulked it up to a sinus infection but never tested her for Covid . She didn’t want to get tested either . Two days later I came down with a little fever , fatigue, chest congestion and the kicker was no taste or smell for 3 days strait . I rested the first day , stayed hydrated , and kept my lungs clear . Took vitamins c,d,zinc and turmeric . Got well in 2 to 3 days . Didn’t get tested but I’m sure I had it . now I have the natural immunity. Not taking the experimental jab . Wife got over it as well with zpack, and vitamin c, d, zinc and turmeric. Sister in law (no pics) and bro in law caught it shortly after as they were around us Christmas Eve . They went and got tested and tested positive . This thing has gotten blown way out of proportion . Eff Biden . That is all

Was a little under the weather about 10 months ago. I asked my employee Heath nurse if I should go get tested. I was told it’s best not to.

Best to never have a positive covid record

The truth is; with all of the asymptomatic cases out there, we have no clue how pervasive this virus was. At one point the WHO was using a 20X case multiplier in their models.

It’s more likely to be a 1.2 multiplier.

Maybe so you don’t infect someone you care about who gets sick and dies? Just a thought.

The only people benefiting from these tests are the number crunchers and since they’re cooking the books anyway I don’t see the point.

School just started. Great timing for new germs to spread around. Masks don’t do shite for spreading germs in schools.

I was around a few people who tested positive for covid. Then a few days later I had the same symptoms that they had. Knew it was covid so it would have been a waste of time for me to go get tested.

Household of 6 here. We all had it (lost smell, and later my wife tested positive for antibodies)

We didn't test for covid because we knew we had it and didn't want to be put into the system

I've been tested twice, 6 months apart. Both negative.

I believe that now, since the testing is known to be shite, just no need to test at all. A positive pcr result means nothing.
I think loss of taste/smell is the best indicator.

Not getting tested again. I've completely lost faith in health care.

Thursday I woke up with a sore throat, sneezing, and coughing. Friday night I had fever. Started feeling better Saturday but was coughing up phlegm. Got steadily better Sunday and today. No testing for me.

Me. Got sick Nov 2019. Stayed sick until Feb 2020. Drs. told me “some kind of weird respiratory virus that is going around.” I say BS! It was Covid, just based on the different symptoms I experienced. One doc gave me steroid shot, z-pack early. I think that knocked the wind out of whatever it was. But symptoms lingered long.

What difference does knowing make. If you test positive or you going to the hospital?

If they ever decide that people who have natural immunity don't need the vaccine, it would be nice to know..
