Just replace Dominion with paper ballots and hand counting and country will be found to be nearly 60% conservative I’m hearing!

Old upper-middle class NY/NJ baws love Florida. It’s not a new phenomenon. I don’t think this is a particularly left-leaning demographic either.

I'd say 2/3rds are conservative. Definitely some Liberals migrate too but those older folks that move have a lot more common sense than the 23 year olds from LA that move to TX, CO, AZ etc etc

Actually, I know a few folks who have moved from Cali to TX.
They’re all conservatives.

The real tragedy is that CA is getting more blue.

SWFL seems to get more Ohio and Michigan transplants, while SEFL gets NY and New England transplants. That's the difference.

Only because of illegal aliens. The reason that's making a difference now is our idiotic birthright citizenship rules that rewards anchor babies. Illegal parents cant vote in Texas, but their kids can.

I think Florida's success is not so much the Liberal vs Conservative balance of power. It's more about the fact that we have no state income tax and that guarantee is embedded in the state constitution (so it's not likely to change). Add to that a generous homestead exemption, low corporate taxes, and a cap on rising property appraisals. These fiscal policies, along with our beautiful beaches and superlative quality of life almost guarantee that we will have a robust economy and growing population. Even my most liberal-minded friends here in Florida would not dare to think of changing the aforementioned economic policies. Of course, none of this can prevent the progressive, libtard woke culture bullshite from creeping in, but as long as the taxes are low, there will be plenty of conservatives moving in as a bulwark against the crazies.

Texas has allowed their state to be overrun by Illegal Immigrants for decades. They have done nothing to make these invaders feel unwelcome or remove them.

I spent the weekend in Palm Beach county and saw lots of cars with Trump stickers on them. I was quite surprised by it.

My wife and I were talking on the way home about how Florida seems to be hitting its best ever peak right now. Our roads and infrastructure have never been better. Towns everywhere are booming and being gentrified. It’s really a great time to be a Floridian.

I’ve lived here since 1972.

My son is a UF senior EE major. We spent the weekend setting him up for his summer internship in the Palm Beach area. Tech is starting to boom down there. I suspect he will end at this company when he graduates.

We live in the greater Orlando area. I love it down there where he’s going to live this summer.
