3 years. His first full year budget will be for FY 2026, which likely won’t get signed until March or April of 2026.

I'm saying 18 months to begin to see improvements. Doesn't have to be all the way there, and I don't expect it to be, but 18 months should be long enough to see the signs. It's a big ship to steer, and it takes time.

Don’t be like that. It’s literally just 5 bullet points. Fill them out and press send.

I believe we will see some change within a year and more later.

I'm fine with giving him this entire term and his next 2 terms as well.

Improve?

Given our current economic outlook, if he can avoid a major recession without using borrowed money to kick can, it will be a rousing success.

Removing that money from our economy is going to hurt the economy bigly in the short term. It's a major reason why no pol ends up ever being serious about cutting spending.

Long term it should pay dividends, but it's going to hurt in the short term.

Long run, yes.

Short term, pain.

All that debt and government bloat is a pretty large chunk of "the economy." It will hurt short term but needs to happen.

The problem is, that politicians don't get re-elected on long-term goals. They get re-elected on what they do now, in theory

Same. I say 18 months or longer.

Anyone blaming Trump for current economics needs some remedial lessons. Most indicators lag.

Without a doubt he should have literally already fixed the economy, I mean he's already been president for over a whole month.

We've been in a recession for multiple quarters now. No one in the media or the previous admin would admit it, but all the traditional indicators have been there for a long time.

It could take his whole presidency or more. He is playing the long game w/all outside investments coming in, however I wish he would have a press conference and layout realistically what is happening. Most people are short tempered and want to see big results now, because its what was promised.

Few months. My grocery bill has noticeably skyrocketed the past couple weeks and 401k went to shite this week.

This is not what I voted for. Trump is quickly losing my support.

Energy production must get geared up. You can't fix four years of stupid anti-energy policies overnight.
