Someone trained isn't taking a shot from there regardless.

I have 223 rifles set for 2 inches high at a hundred yards with a cup sized target for repeatability
I have a 7 mml mag set for 2 inches high at 200 yards, and last time fired, put three in a pie plate at 300 yards.

this thread is refreshing in that if it were on the outdoor board, all the comments would be minute of angle lectures which is useful stuff shooting at the thousand yard marker

I'm getting 200 feet. No more than 300.

I'm not sure exactly where Trump was standing, going off of maps shown by others on twitter, but ridiculously close for the guy to be ignored by the SS and local police.

operative word starts.

The shot was an easy shot and whoever took it didn't need to be taking it.

The guy was probably a small fry brainwashed to hate Trump.

Right in front of the brick building (you can see the peak behind him). Make sure you place the shooter behind the ridge line of the closest bright white roof

Maybe but one of the talking heads said a lot of politicians wear protective vests at these type events. Not sure if Trump does.

That's the $64,000.00 question
These rallies have been going on for a while without much trouble. Maybe SS has gotten too complacent?

I misread it earlier but just remeasured.

381 ft.

Trump has said they made him wear one in the past.

Another reason to go for a headshot.
