Careful. The largest population of Hondurans outside of Honduras is in New Orleans. They are completely bought into kleptocracy, because that's where they came from.
Would I rather them as neighbors, yes. Do I want either of those voting, F no. Source, ex-wife parents were Honduran, and the LSU and New Orleans Honduranian contingent is not friendly to conservative values.

Interesting. I’ve never talked politics directly with them. I really admire their work ethic and traditional family values, which is more than I can say for white liberals.

Older hondurans are hardcore "f those people coming across now with cell phones, I picked lemons before I joined the Air Force," which is my ex FIL.
The generations that came across after aren't worried about buying in by flying bodies back from Vietnam like my ex-FIL. They're honestly worried about who is connected to what franchise sandwich business, who can give them what, etc. It's a disaster.
