Honestly, I liked a lot of what he was saying during his campaign, but didn't trust that he could get a lot of it done. Lot's of big things.

However, I knew it would be better than Hillary and he was entertaining and new and not "entitled". So I pulled the lever for him. Expectations far exceeded. His support for Kavanaugh sealed it for me.

10/10 would vote Orange again.

In 16 my vote was far more of a vote against HRC than it was for DJT. Now that the deep state and the dims have been exposed and I see how deep things go my vote in 20 will be 110% for the man.

With what he has worked AGAINST and accomplished what he has done I wish we would vote the dims out and send them packing. The new trade treaty is still in limbo because they don't want to give him a win of any kind. That speaks volumes to me when they are putting pride ahead of the American people.

I’d buy a used pair of his tighty whiteys just to see how much room he has to have to carry his bowling ball size nuts.

Never thought he had a chance to win the nomination but he got my vote.
Then I never thought he had a chance to beat Hillary.
Then I wasn't sure if he could get anything done with two parties that don't want him in DC.
Then I wondered if he would even finish a first term.

I no longer doubt what he can accomplish and couldn't be more on his side.

He persuaded me on the importance of immigration control. I was an early supporter though, and concluded by early August he was going to win the primary.

Supported Rand in 2016. Will be voting for Trump in 2020. The neocon/surveillance state/prog alliance is a dystopian nightmare.

I doubted the sob at first, but I was never nor have been a lib commie. I wondered if Trump was only running for publicity, still wonder, however, seeing Odummy and Hillass constantly rip him and other lib idiots lose their minds about him makes you have to say, YEP! Seeing DC lose their collective minds is glorious.

I still think Trump enjoys the "love" because he knows its gonna make him and his kids a shite ton of money. Fine with me. Policy-wise he is a yuge benefit to all of us.

In uptown N.O. and am old enough that I had sensed the Rep vs Dem facade was BS long ago. Voted Libertarian from early 90's. Did not move far in ideology with Trump consider him our last chance.

I could feel the incriminating eyes as I moved through our polling place. I felt like I would have been persecuted if confirmed a Trumper. Even today I would not wear a MAGA hat. Bad statement with regard to extended family, business etc.

How did they manage to make me feel like that?

It's pitiful that we can't even get to a point where this question can be asked? Because it should be asked and answered

I thought it was a joke when he announced he was running. He has been a better president than I could have imagined.

can't tell my friends how much I opposed Trump as a nominee. I despised the thought of him being President and I would have bet any amount of money that we'd be mired in war and he would be in jail by now.

I was so wrong. His are the actions of a president who actually cares about the US of A

I was the same way!

Feel that most people, especially those in the middle have moved toward Trump but don’t admit it. Another reason trump polls terrible. Fully expect a Reagan type landslide

-I was all Cruz.
-Hated trump because I didn’t think he’d effectively debate Hillary.
-I did not think he was actually conservative.
-after he won the primary, t took me two whole days to go from All Cruz to MAGA.

Also, the video of Odummy ripping Trump at that dinner, whatever that was, to me was when Trump decided to say, "oh yeah, F-you" to Odummy and libs overall...then that skit of Odummy dropping his phone when stating he(Trump) would never be President is to this day funny as shite!!

I wasn't sold on Trump until that shite show by Comey on live TV to exonerate Hillary. I knew the that I had to act for my country. Over the next few months leading to the election my wife and I gave $700 to the campaign, and I volunteered as a poll watcher for the Republicans and also helped put out signs and coordinate a watch party for the county.

He's proven to be the best president of my lifetime and that's saying a lot.

Not one millimeter. He is exactly what I expected. Better than Hillary Clinton, but that is not an extraordinarily high bar.

I was pretty similar. He has definitely won me over. Turning our backs on the Kurds is really the only thing he has done that I disagree with. His allowing discussion of red flag laws made me extremely nervous but that nonsense seems to have died down. Hopefully.
