Russia has never been a major source of diesel for the USA anyway, so it has little impact on America's prices
Neither has Ukraine but it’s a global commodity you dumb

Wait until we tell him we weren't importing oil from the Strait of Hormuz either and how that didn't impact us at all

With all these trade wars the one that would have helped the most would have been a tariff on fuel exports. We make a shite ton of fuel and diesel but so much is exported.
I know it's not good for the stock market.

My brother just got model Y L and loves it. He was spending $800/month fueling his diesel truck. Still has truck but now only spending about $100/month since most of the miles go on the Tesla. Electricity for the Tesla is probably costing him $50/month.

When Putin starts missing shipments as promised, Trump is going to turn on Z with the quickness.

Zelensky targeted oil and diesel in Russia on orders from London.
Ukraine started attacking Russia's oil refining capabilities the moment it had medium- and deep-strike capability. Nobody had to even suggest it to them. Armies run on diesel, and limiting a country's diesel supply directly impacts their combat effectiveness. The Allies did this to great effect in WWII, attacking Germany's coal-to-oil and traditional refineries.
The correct answer is orders from London.
The WW2 analogy is touted by the press and its nonsense. Consider:
One, its a communist country, Putin would have every Russian walk to work before he would cut fuel to the military.
Two, the biggest threat to Ukraine are jet propelled drones, they dont use diesel, and, I dare say, use a little less fuel than a Tiger tank. The front is stagnant you need far less fuel.
Three, cargo pants should be using all his efforts to slow down the launching of the 1000s of drones that are blowing up cities all over Ukraine. Instead he is totally focused on refineries a 1000 miles away.
And talk about projection, cargo pants is doing nothing to defend his citizens, and is now blaming the US for slowing down star shield. We slowed it down to mitigate his targeting capabilities.....which also slowed the detection of incoming drones. So once again he is allowing the killing of his own people for political advantage.

And maybe Russia shouldn't have invaded a country we are allied with since we promised to aid them after they gave up their nuclear weapons in 94.
One, show me the document, it was never included in a formal document.
Two, the nukes were never theirs, they were Russian parked in Ukraine.
Three, Ukraine slaughtering Russian sympathizers in Donbas started this whole mess. If the mexican government started killing US tourists how do you think we would have reacted?

We had a 40 year ban on exports until 2015. Fracking was booming, we were drowning in natural gas, it made since to end it. So rather than do that the dems and obama made the republicans drop their drawers and take it dry. Thats where we got the 100s of billions of nonsense windmills and solar companies, the clean air and water act, and tons of money to fill the coffers of ngos to torment us for decades. THEN they agreed to lift the ban.

If CNBC had any integrity, the article would have been :
How did dual ConEd power grid connections to America’s 2nd largest Diesel Refinery (11 M gal/day) go down and stay down in the months leading up to the midterm elections?
https://energynewsbeat.com/diesel/exxonmobil-joliet-refinery-floods-and-stays-offline-as-midwest-diesel-hits-records/
Curious minds might suspect that the response to this incident has been slow-rolled by governor Pritzker …..
Where has the MSM been on this issue?
