This. If there are jobs the people who are legitimately disenfranchised will see that change that benefits them has occurred they will back the party that helped get them paid and feed their children through work and not charity will have a renewed or new sense of pride in themselves, country and the party that helped them get those things

The damn is already cracking as Trump convinced one out of every eight black voters to vote for him. If he governs in a way that brings actual positive change to those communities, that 1/8 will quickly become 1/4, then 1/3, then even more. Blacks in the community have started listening to him. They are giving him a chance to make his case, and he will have 4 years to do so. If he is successful, we could be seeing the "early adopters", the first wave of a new black caucus of conservatives.
That's why BLM and the media is acting so shrill and over the top. They can see that they are losing control and are doing everything in their power to contain this revolt. The Flint Water Crisis was the flashpoint, and democrats lost the narrative that only they can care about blacks. They have opened their ears, and they don't all like what their so-called representatives in pop culture and BLM are doing. Trump will have 4 years to make his case, and the eyes of all African Americans will be on him, hoping he can prove the democrat narrative wrong.

Golden opportunity to destroy the Dem coalition. If he could really improve inner-city schools, jobs, etc., he could make the black vote competitive.
Every black guy I've ever known can smell BS a mile away and are socially conservative. I really can't figure out the reason they vote 90+% Dem.
However, culturally they are decimated. I'm not sure how you unwind the affect of mass fatherless children over multi-generations.

Serious question. What exactly is "helping them?"
We have affirmative action where in some, maybe many cases, a black person is hired over an equally or more qualified white person. There are special incentives to grant public contracts to minority owned business. Many Major and medium sized US inner cities are being rebuilt. Yet, the word "gentrification" is akin to a four letter word in many black communities. Tons of money has been thrown at public schools for years. College are begging for even marginally qualified black students to enroll in their institutions all in the name of diversity. You can't "help" someone who is unwilling to help themselves. The OPPORTUNITIES for betterment are there. Many just refuse to take them because it's much easier to take a handout than work.
The way Democrats look at black people is incredibly condescending. They paint them as a people who are too helpless to help themselves, thus they need the benevolence of Democrats to come in a save the day.
Many Asian people come to this country with little ability to speak/understand the language and, initially, very few opportunities for jobs. Yet, they take what they can get. Live where they can afford (initially) and bust their asses to earn a living all while emphasizing the importance of education for their children. Within 1 to 2 generations they are part of the middle class.
There is ALREADY opportunity for African Americans. It's just a matter if they will take advantage. No President, black or white, Democrat or Republican, can force them to do so.

Blacks have a tendency to cut through the political bullshite better than whites. They are not as idealistic. Help them and they will be grateful.
Nonsense. There is no greater hive mind in the political world, outside of single party systems. They have been voting for their own economic enslavement for over 50 years.

the problem is not black people.
the problem is corrupt black leaders (controlled by shadow white elitists like soros)
the vast majority of black people want things better but due to MANIPULATION BY THEIR LEADERSHIP they are hopeless and feel democrats/hand-outs are the only thing that will help them.
god knows if we could ever get over the hump and they stop allowing their leaders to be puppets of WHITE PEOPLE hiding in the shadows they may actually improve their quality of life.

IF he keeps good on his promise to help the black people and work with their community leaders and pastors to help these kids that are killing each other, no black person will ever vote republican again. He has a chance to destroy the democratic party once and for all and expose them as the racists they are.

can you imagine it? black people turning against democrats? once the first domino falls, this could rewrite our political landscape as we know it.
