Same way they took our gold. They just made it illegal to own and had a reclamation event.

A few different avenues. As mentioned previously, just make them illegal, then prosecute people when they're caught. Every dude that breaks up with a woman will get turned in. There are also coercive measures like requiring insurance companies to drop policies (home, auto, health, life) for gun owners. They'll also remove protections for firearm and ammunition manufacturers in order to bankrupt them through litigation. Door-to-door won't happen.

My dad had 2 guns stolen out of his truck. Filed a police report and everyrhing about a year ago.
Funny thing, he showed me the two guns last week.

Exactly. The armed citizenry must be responsible for removing at least 3 persons who attempt to unconstitutionally disarm them.

I get it. But that doesn't mean 0bama AND Biden still didn't go after the 2A. They did -- only not in one obvious fall swoop. They and their "team" chipped away at it, moving their game pieces closer to their opponent's King & Queen.
Regarding, Lexington and Concord: The Shot Heard 'Round the World, that was a fair war, fought with fair rules. The Brits could have but didn't disarm Americans (another possible tinfoil hat story.)
Btw, today's Tech Weaponry could / would make confiscation a simple academic exercise.

The local police have no jurisdiction to enforce federal law. And the federal law enforcement agencies have no general police power either (like knocking on people's doors to enforce federal laws).

Ignoring the felony he already committed, what did this accomplish? If the two guns he has hidden are banned, they will have to remain hidden, he brings them out for anything, even his own self defense he loses everything.

I read a true story of an American couple hiking in Romania.
Guns are illegal to have in Romania but they did not search house to house for them and lots of Romanians had “Boating Accidents”.
They had guns but under no circumstances were they allowed to use them.
So when the wife was attacked and eaten alive for 45 minutes by a bear the owners of the hotel she was staying at did not tell her husband where his rifle was hidden and they were reduced to shouting and throwing rocks at the bear.
The bear ignored the shouts and rocks and that woman screamed and hit the bear as it ate her stomach first.
I downvote every post that talks about “Boating Accidents”. When it becomes time to hide them that means it is time to use them.
We may not be able to touch the politicians in Washington. But when an American citizen is arrested for having a gun we can touch the locals who enforce the laws.

I don’t. I’m honest and follow the rules just like most decent people and they know that so they do whatever they want.
