It won’t be the documents.

Remember where you heard it first.
Indeed, we do. DJT said it in El Paso, exactly 735 days ago.

There are two possible responses. Try to hide it, or address it. Obviously, he chose to address it.
And yet they chose not to say the docs were moved once he was installed as FauxTUS, and utilized the same declassification pathways Trump did for the MAL docs. Biden's camp is making shite up as they go along. Naturally, you don't see that.

I don’t think that Trump did anything nefarious re classified documents
He did not, as he possessed plenary powers to declassify anything he chose because he was President.

I don’t think that Biden did anything nefarious re same.
To this point Biden broke multiple laws with respect to mishandling classified documents, as he was VP when they were illegally moved/taken.
Either he broke the laws by having the docs illegally removed/stored, or he broke the law by having ZERO awareness of it and folks in his camp were doing it. Which idiot would you like to see him being?

It's hard for me to believe that the National Archives sent the FBI in to raid Mar-A-Lago for documents that it knew Trump had in his possession, but somehow they weren't even aware that the docs DumJoe had in his possession were even missing.
If any more are discovered to be missing, the first place I would look is the Chinese Embassy.

I think it’s kind of silly of the dems to remove him because the next person won’t be able to hide like him. Questions will be unanswerable by Kamala. She can’t talk to children, let alone the media.
That’s not a problem for Democrats as they have the MSM covering for them. It won’t be a problem for her or anyone else on the left.

Again ... what exactly would the attorneys be looking for?
It may have been his secretary looking for a birthday card he got from Netanyahu. It does not matter. Someone was looking for something unrelated, in all likelihood, and they found the first of the classified documents.
Getting lawyers involved at that point would have been prudent.

He’s incompetent and a pos. Always has been. I doubt he or his son faces anything serious, like they should. He will be removed and forgotten about, even though “he got the most votes ever”.
Not only did Biden allegedly receive more votes than any presidential candidate in US history it's likely he's done more damage to our constitutional republic than any president in history.

While looking for something else allegedly. What were they looking for?

Yet it wasn't his secretary. It was his attorneys that he has on retainer presumably. What do you suppose they were looking for?

The source told CNN that a personal lawyer for Biden was closing out the downtown DC office that Biden used as part his work with the University of Pennsylvania. The lawyer saw a manila folder that was labeled “personal,” opened the envelope and noticed there were classified documents inside. The lawyer closed the envelope and called NARA, the source said.

I suspect some retconning, but let’s assume that it actually was an attorney who first found the document. Why was he involved? I have no opinion.
To me, the relevant question is “how was it handled, once it was discovered?”
Of course, another relevant question is “how did he get the document to start with? Again, and absent additional evidence, I saw nothing nefarious about Trump having the documents he had, and I see nothing nefarious about Biden having these documents. It happens.

Imagine an R President marking such documents as simply personal.
You’d be screaming at the top of your lungs

Isn’t that exactly what Trump tried to do?

Manila folder with personal written on it?

Trump went to court claiming they were personal. Remember?

I'm wondering if this is a backhanded attempt to disqualify Joe Biden to run for re-election. Using the storage of Classified documents.
THEN, they move to TRY and apply the same standard to Trump.
However, there are other motives for these documents and having special prosecutors or investigators.
If documents are tied up in review of a special counsel, they can not be disclosed or reviewed by others who know they hold valuable information.
In Trump's case, we know his documents were declassified minus any FISA blackouts. These also contained great detail on Crossfire Hurricane and naming folks.
In Brandon's case, we know that Republicans can't get access to material to launch the investigation showing the Brandon was selling access to the US Government through his son Crackhead.

The theory is that this will be used to push Biden out and leverage that to undercut Trump. Biden will fall on his sword and agree not to run again. That will be used as leverage to portray the narrative of how to handle the situation the "right way." The media will ignore the key differences in the cases. Dems kill two birds with one stone. They get Biden out, and undermine Trump.
Trump should tell them to FO.

It was so nice to spare these poor people from being raided and hounded after seeing what Trump went through.
We do appreciate the States desire to protect certain politicians over others, after all they know whats best.

The question becomes, was the Trump raid done with this specifically in mind, or was it all just sort of a happy coincidence?

Will Biden have to go to court and make the same claim?

I imagine our benevolent overlords will protect our democracy by keeping the poor president from having to answer to all these "conspiracy theories."
